Amazing!
-I love the food and service. The food is not expensive like people wrote! It's cheap and amazing! Best Mexican food in NYC! We live so close to lobo! I recommend this resturant highly to mexican lovers! It's decorated like Mexico inside! (:

Hit or miss
But when it hits, it's the best Tex Mex in NYC.

Meh...
Had the chicken fried steak and my gf had the beef tacos. The taco plate did not come with any sour cream and only a few shreds of cheese.I think anyone could do it better at home. Everything was just ok. Nothing about the meal stood out. Maybe it was just an off night but I don't think I will ever find out...

Tex-mex staple
My girlfriend and I have been eating here semi-regularly for about two years now; long story short this place is great. Food has been consistently fresh and delicious though the gauc leaves something to be desired. I agree with the other reviewer about the drinks as I have yet to come across a weak margarita in this place. The atmosphere can be noisy on the weekend nights, but what else would you expect with great margaritas flowing? During most of the week and Sunday it's quiet and a good place to go for a nice low drama dinner. The portions are more than adequate for my taste as i have never left hungry or disappointed in my meal so I think it's good value for the area. Service is consistently good even when crowded, better on the quieter days....and this is huge folks...we have never had a nasty/snotty/condescending waiter/waitress in this place..a real rarity for the cobble hill/bk heights/ CG area. Check it out.

Awesome outdoor space
Very chilled atmosphere with great outdoor seating. It's homey and rustic, with decent food. The fried okra side dish was amazing!!

YeeHaw!
One of the best mexican spots I have had in the city to date. I'm a mexican, from west texas no less, and think this was great quality. Love the breakfast tacos!!

There must be something better in the neighborhood
I have tried Lobo many times hoping that I will like it. But unfortunately it is not going to happen. The food is just not good. It is overpriced. The drinks are not strong enough. Definitely skip it.
