Stopped in today for the BQ Platter and a couple drinks. Service, food, spot on. Manager John added to the great vibes. Would recommend for the NY State theme menu and wine

I made a reservation for a pre-theater dinner. I arrived a few minutes early and was shown a table two feet from the door which was essentially a table by the noisy crowded bar with two backless stools. I asked for a table with chairs and was told to wait. The hostess came back and said that was the only table available due to many large parties but I could speak with the manager if I would like. He was standing next to her and instead of trying to be nice and accommodating he basically mocked us for wanting to sit and eat like adults rather than sit/stand by the bar for dinner. It was impossible for us to be served properly, eat in a relaxing way and talk to each other. Make no mistake this is a bar and not a relaxing dining establishment. Be forewarned if you want to enjoy a pre-theater dinner. Usually a manager tries to smooth things over but instead he alienated us. Quite different from other restaurants. I can't say that I would recommend this for anyone other than teenagers!
