Little Thai Kitchen

LTK dishes used to be very good, if a bit overpriced. Just ordered lunch after about 4 months. The Tom Yum soup was not as spicy and tasted almost sweet. The amount of meat in the dishes is minimal (3shrimp, few small pieces of chicken). Shrimp Basil was tasteless and used cheap vegetables (green beans instead of peppers). The brown rice was dry and crusty. The sause tasteless and watery. Also, they never deliver everything that was ordered.

They charge extra ($1.95) for brown rice. The brown rice must have been 3 days old. It was hard and crunchy and obviously had been sitting around drying out for days. There is no need to charge $2 extra for brown rice, particularly since their prices border in ridiculous for the amount of food you get. Its a disgrace- they should be ashamed to charge so much extra for such a cheap food staple and then dole it out in a stale state with overpriced food. Will not be returning.

For someone who likes more meat than veggies, this place rocks. Their Bassil Duck, Bassil Beef and Chicken are great, just to mention a few. Service is good, but the restaurant itself is too small, and could be too busy, especially for the lunch time. Overall, I would recommend this place, if you like hot and spicy Thai food.

What a dissapointment. The shrimp was mushy, the noodles were greasy, the portions were tiny tiny and the service was terrible. and so expensive too! They even nickel and dime you on the brown rice - $1.00 extra and no lunch specials. I had to wait for over an hour for my order and when it finally came they forgot my dressing and told me I would have to wait another 1/2 hr. Then they couldn't find my huge building even though they were just here. Then they called me back again asking me for my order number again. I never did get my dressing.

The Choo-Chee Fish wasn't that bad as a take-out order, it's Tilapia and ricefor around here not a terrible deal. They actually seem like a very quick and generally flavorful place. Many Thai restaurants load you down with sugar to make the food taste better but I dont think this place uses much grease and sugar.

Ordered lunch, one soup and one "lunch size" chicken dish (as opposed to non-lunch, which is more expensive). $16 for both, pre-tip. Garlic chicken was good. Soup was meager, broth was dominant and the actual ingredients were sparse. Chicken was skimpy, appetizer size. Overall, this place skimps and cuts corners.

I work in mid-town east and have had lots of thai. By far, this place is the worst and most expensive. I ordered vegetable pad thai...it was not very good. It wasn't terrible, but for the price it should have contained more veggies and had more flavor. They are very cheap with their ingredients. I do not recommend.
