can't go wrong
ate here at least twice a week before leaving the neighborhood. As a vegetarian , choice is limited but perogies are made with love and expect huge portions for the price. Hot beets, homemade coleslaw, split pea soup, cauliflower soup, fruit soup- fanatstic. Would travel the 3000 miles just to eat here again. Definitely no frills but the staff are attentive, friendly and you cannot beat the quality of food considering the price. If memory serves me well a glass of wine was maybe $3.75.

Come Hungry
I stumbled into this hole in the wall several years ago. Portions of homecooked food are like Mom piled it up on your plate. Tastes the same. Consistantly GOOD. The staff is helpful with translating english/polish. Go there hungry, walk out happy and full. Many Americans feel out of place on the first visit. You will feel welcome before you leave.
