Why didn't I buy 2
Have always loved their pies since they first opened. I had not had a pie from them for over a year so I headed to the shop to pie shop I got my key lime, blueberry and apple then I saw the bread pudding w lemon sauce. No matter what you go there for get the bread pudding it will put a smile on your face and a song in your tummy

Takes me back to a quieter time
I adore this place! Why, you may wonder??!! It's uber clean. The staff are always SOOO pleasant and accommodating that one cashier even went above and beyond by letting me use a coupon in combination with a special they were running that day! That's the way I like the businesses I support to roll: screw the fine print - give everyone, especially the regulars, exceptional service! They even inspired me to try to replicate their Apple Sour Cream Pie (which I did, if I do say so myself :-). I'm a super picky (alright...just say bourgeois! I can take it :-) foody and I've enjoyed everything I've ever eaten here with NO complaint! My top fav pies (as of now) are the mississipi mud (palpably dense!!!), three berry (phenom!!) and the sour cream apple (OM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!!). I can't recommend this place enough, especially for a laid back afternoon date with a loved one. Quality food. Quality service. All around awesomeness! A bit on the pricey side...but you're seriously getting quality (can I say that word enough??!! :-). The experience, whether dining in or out, is well worth the expenditure. You've got to treat yourself at least once in your life to this true NYC find :-)

Must Try
i have been going here since they fist opened when they were still having concerts on the pier. would always buy the small pies for me and my friends.always made sure to stop by during 9th ave food festival.these are the type of pies that when you ask someone if they know of this place you both start jumping up and down because that is just how good the pies are

Absolutely amazing!
The pies and cakes are amazing! Top off any choice with ice cream and you have yourself a little slice of heaven on earth. Forget Magnolia, this place has better desserts, you can actually sit down to eat after ordering and I've never encountered an abnormally long line.

the best pies
I dont know about the previous review poster, but the pies here are wonderful. The sour cream apple walnut is my personal favorite. It's best heated up and the sour cream gives it an unusually yummy flavor. Supermarket apple pies dont measure up to the pies here.

Not worth your time and money.
Not impressed at all with the pies. I tried the mississippi mud pie and the sour cream apple walnut pie. The apple walnut was a little better than the mud pie, which basically tasted like a brownie with extra sugar. You can get a pie just as good, if not better at your local supermarket . This place is definitely not recommended.
