Interesting place
I went here for lunch recently thought the place was a little weird at first. There didn't seem to be anyone around and I wasn't sure if my order had even been put in, but once the food arrived it really redeemed itself. I'm not one for vegetarian or vegan food but I had the fake steak sandwich and I loved it! The popcorn was also delicious and I thought about taking some home. I would definitely go back. It's cheap, good and my sandwich was huge. The only bad thing was a lack of things to drink there wasn't much selection.

love love love it!
I really love this place! The food is good and so fresh and so so so affordable! I have some of my meat-eating co-workers going there regularly now and we all love it. The buffet food is very tasty (although, as a warning, low on choices) and my new favorite is the soup and bread. Yum! It's the best price for any soup in the financial district and I would swear the tomatoes in my Italian lentil soup today had been picked this morning.

MMMmmm
This is actually one of my favorite vegetarian spots to date. The food is delicious for a great price. Lunch buffet is usually 3.99 with a soup. The atmospere is friendly because Larry the owner is very polite as well as the staff. The food is very healthy and fresh. Non meat eaters as well as carnivores will love this food!

Oh My Gosh!
I tried popcorn and a cookie and they were both amazing. I am not a fan of those very healthy vegan baked goods – usually too dry and “healthy”. The cookies looked a bit too “healthy” but I bought the lemon blueberry ones anyway. I am so glad I did – they were so, so tasty. Even Mr. Junkfood at work said they were pretty good – especially considering they are good for you. The popcorn – I got the Herbed Corn – was also very tasty as well. Mr. Junkfood approved of that too. A little pricey, I guess – but good for you and a nice treat once in a while. : - ) Try them! I cannot wait to go back and try some other flavors and some other stuff too. Check Little Lad’s out!!! Great lunch buffet too!

Great little place : - )
This place is a little hard to find - go down the stairs once inside the building from Nassau Street or Broadway. Today was the first day I tried it - I took it to go too. It was suprisingly a bit busy. - ) Great - go vegans!!! There was a lot less choice then I thought - but enough for a pretty tasty lunch - and a good value. They also have lots of extras like vegan cookies and popcorn and stuff like that (they cost extra too, though). The poeple are super nice and super friendly. Even though I wish there was more to the buffett - I will still go back - because of what there was - it was really very good. - )

Great place for lunch downtown
This place was a little tricky to find, but it's great. There's a buffet at lunch which has yummy and healthy vegan food for $3.99, which is a great deal for the Financial District. I work nearby and I've definitely paid a lot more for food that wasn't anywhere near as good. Also, the people who work there are extremely nice. Looking forward to coming back there soon!

Thank goodness
thank goodness for delicious and affordable vegan lunch in this part of the city. It was well worth the money and a great change from the usual tossed salad.
