Recently started a renewed health kick and made the decision to incorporate more raw fruits and veggies in my daily diet. Tried the Fields of Green (w/ extra apple) and was very pleased. Although the atmosphere looks a little forgotten...the service and fresh produce make up for it. I'll be back!

The food here is awesome. Always very filling and tastes great (and healthy).

This is my first menupages review. I'm writing it because I see some negative reviews here and I hate to see this great little place get a bad rep. First of all, the UWS is severely lacking in health-oriented restaurants, particularly those that serve meat. One's non-vegetarian options are basically limited to this place, Chipotle, Nanoosh, Nick and Tony's, and to a lesser extent Josie's. Anyway, getting back to Lite Delight; they have tastey and healthful prepared foods, make fantastic protein shakes using legit protein powders (none of that skeptical looking stuff in a generic white can), and are reasonably priced considering their size and their healthful ingredients. I frequently stop by after working out at Crunch around the corner and grab their killer Blueberry/Syntha-6 protein shake. Their chicken wraps/sandwiches are also delicious and great to pickup for a picnic in the park or on-the-run eating. Overall, I think this place is a great addition to the nieghborhood and hope that it continues to prosper.

There are very few places on the Upper West Side that serve free range/organic chicken, veggies, and soups. While this is not a beautiful sit down restaurant, I have been consistently pleased with the veggie platters, and chicken burritos. I also imagine the smoothies are good too. I'm just happy to have a place in the neighborhood that has quality food for really good prices. Not much of that around here for take out or delivery.

Ordered delivery which came quickly, but had no flavor! Black bean "soup" was a can of black beans heated up, (not blended, no seasoning, nothing in there at all!) and the wrap was almost entirely romaine, with little of anything elses, and fell apart immediately. Juice is fine, but I'd stay away from anything else.

had a lame wrap from here (delivered) once, but still go back for the yummy fresh juice. i had a ginger snap today, apple, pear, ginger, and carrot juice. very energizing and refreshing! cost is reasonable for fresh juice, though maybe a bit on the high side. ($15 for my juice, boyfriend's smoothie, and pumpkin bread) will def visit again for more fresh juices!
