    Good food for good price!

I eat there at least once a week. I get the chicken parm with spaghetti and it is awesome. The price is great compared to other places that may charge about $3 more. The people are friendly and when I go in they make an effort to inquire about your day. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. And trust me I have.

    Get the chicken roll!

The pizza is average, but their chicken roll is THE BEST!

One of my most frequented restaurants

I live and work within blocks of Lisa's. I have eaten or ordered from here many times. I have eaten at maybe 30-40 pizza places in NYC in the past 2 years. I've decided that the quinitisential NY pizza is the by the slice pizza of good quality (Sal & Carmine's, John's) and much less the hyped up, sometimes arrogant (Lombardi's, Grimaldi's). Lisa's clearly fits into the former, with great dough, nice sauce and good cheeze. The basis of comparison must be the regular slice to be fair, and they are much better than average in this category. On of the things that makes them stand out is that pizza aside, Lisa's really has much more to offer. The pastas can be very good (penne w/ vodka sauce is my usual) and they cook them to order very quickly. The chicken parmesean, calzones, & stromboli are also good. And if your in for a burger, fries and wings - they have them also. This is not Fiamma, Nobu, or Smith and Wollensky's, but its fast, good, reliable, and a great value. I also had them cater food to a party and to work, again , on time, hot, generous, and good reliable quality.

    Mediocre

The pizza here is mediocre at best. It isn't gross and it will fill you up, but it's not too good.

Try the shrimp parm hero; to die for.

    Not very good

The pizza is below average and the selection is limited. There is no good pizza in the financial district!

    We love this place

Quick pizza, friendly staff, right prices. Nothing fancy, but good for an inexpensive dinner, and for a quick place to grab a bite with friends.
