    the worst sandwiches

I have had juices here before ( whatever ) but needed a couple sandwiches to take to a friend while we were waiting to be seen by a doctor at Beth Israel. I didn't like the sound of any on the menu, but chose the avocado wrap and the tuna fish on wholewheat. They both came out hard and cold from the fridge, the avocado was completely brown and the mass of spinach/greens totally overwhelming and dry. We ate 2 bites and couldn't carry on. The tuna fish was a dry mass of mushed tuna with peppers and celery or something slopped between 2 pieces of dry bread and a piece of lettuce. It had not been cut in half so as a take-away was completely inconvenient and tasteless. We were shocked.

used to be good.. what happened?

went there today to get my regular bulldozer and it was FILLED with ice.. $6.50 for half a glass of water? common. The guy behind the counter was yelling and giving pet names to everyone who walked in (do women really like to be called "queen" and "super model" buy a guy they don't know?) and the guy at the register was on the phone, and totally pre-occupied. The service is reprehensible and apparently now, so are the smoothies. It's to bad because this place used to be really good.

    The Best

Liquiteria is the best juice bar in the city. The owner is doing a service to his customers. For mostly organic juices, the quality and the cleanlieness the price is a STEAL. Try to find a better juice in the city - I have. You won't. All of the people who say Liquiteria is expensive have no idea the cost and the labor that goes into making a high quality juice. I love this place and I am so so grateful it exists. Thank you Liquiteria!

    $$$

This place is waaaaaaay expensive, organic or not....i had to stop coming. The smoothies are delicious but are served in tiny portions. The small sandwiches are craaazy expensive too. I spent $17 on a tiny sandwhich and smoothie....couldve had a pretty nice dinner at that price. Kinda seems like another east v. gentrification situation...dont think this business couldve survived in the area 10 years ago.

Owner should decide on ONE name

Is it Liquidteria? or is it Lucky's? Who knows what the owner is thinking, but if he was thinking a little more there would be Lucky Liquidteria's all over the country instead of Jamba Juice, they began the same year. Liquidteria will get you far healthier juice, but at a STEEP price. If you can afford the rents of New New York, then you can afford his products, if your Working Class, then fahgetaboutit!

    Delicious smoothie, kinda expensive

the peach smoothie was one of the best I've ever had. But it was like $7...I could get a chipotle burrito or a good sandwich somewhere for that.

    It IS organic!

If you read the letter from the owner on the wall in the store, you'll see that ALL of Liquiteria's produce IS organic... AND locally grown whenever possible. Compared to prices in the West village and uptown ($10-12 for a juice that's NOT organic) - Liquiteria is a steal.
