Who wouldn't love this amazing UWS gem? The drinks, poured with a smile and served up for a killer price, can be enjoyed in the company of instant-friends all bellied-up at the long open bar. The grilled cheese sandwiches and wings hit the spot on any day of the week and are particularly enjoyable in the middle of a baseball or football game. Somehow this bar pulled all the best bartenders in the area together to create the perfect vibe at this quasi-dive bar. I love it, and having left the area a couple of years back, travel down-town to visit the bar as much as possible. The Lion's Head Tavern is the best little bar in NYC.

My new favorite place to go for a chill night. Full drinks, good food, and excellent prices. What's not to like??

I started going here during football season cause they play all the games. Usually got a table. Its a small bar, low key. The crowd is a good mix. Black urban types, college students, old white guys, etc..... laid back and light atmosphere. Pabst Blue Ribbon. $2 bucks all the time. Awesome. The wings are smallish, but no gross skin and never undercooked. Hot is money. Monday night + 25 cent wings = a lot of people eating chicken. its packed, service is awul almost all night but they kitchen is open late. bartenders are cool, My girlfriend and I enjoyed some chronic bloody marys on a sunday afternoon but have yet to get another one there that was any good. The Veggie Burger is made from scratch and is a solid vegetarian meal. No b.s. just food and beer.

This is one of my favorite bars in the city. I've been living in the area for 3yrs and somehow i wind up there at least once a week. 25 cent wings on monday, dollar beers on wednesday, and $2 PBRs all the time. I like the mix of locals and students that show up to watch any game on their many TVs. And their grill makes good food until 2am. my only complaint is too many Red Sox fans.

I went here on a Monday night to experience the 25 cent wings, and was sorely disappointed. They were too small (i know they were baby chickens... but still...) and not spicy enough, even though our second round was the 2nd hottest kind they had. Not recommended!

This is one of the best dive bars around. It has multiple tvs that show all of the games being played on a given night, darts, Pac-Man, and excellent bar food-- not to mention $2 PBRs, which is the best deal for Columbia-area bars. Sometimes it gets a little crowded, particularly on the weekend, so go early if you want a table. The crowd is generally an eclectic mix of locals and students. I generally have no complaints about the crowd, although one time these two tools came in and sat at the back and complained about everything, but thankfully they haven't been back.

I recently moved to Manhattan and tried this place out. Glad I did because it is my new favorite bar! Fantastic wings, great bartenders, and 2 dollar PBR's! Can't beat it!!
