    Pricey

For a restaurant this pricey, one would expect tablecloths!

    Go now!

Excellent dining experience - from the moment I was escorted to my swivel chair I was captivated! Service was seamless & attentive, without hovering. The extra treats throughout are lovely. Cocktails are perfect, as is everything else. A must in NYC!!

    Poetry Pasta

My guest and I arrived at Lincoln 20 minutes earlier than our expected reservation. We were seated promptly by a warm maitre'd. The restaurant boasts high ceilings, dark wood interiors and banquettes. The energy was vibrant but not too loud. While seated and looking over the menu, the service staff seamlessly moved from one table to the next like a well orchestrated dance. The flatware and stemware gleamed upon the dark dining table as if they comfortable appeared for the occasion. The captain took our orders and recommended a few of his favorites. He was conversational without being too obtrusive. A selection of bread was brought out along with small sides of olive oil and white truffle spread. I would have preferred a warm bread fresh bread. The bread was soft but had the feeling as if it sat in a bread box for a day or so. Something I would liken to having at home. Our appetizer arrived meticulously split for my friend and I. It was fresh, colorful, and radiating. The Burata melted with each slice and lyrically evaporated inside your mouth like a warm glass of milk. Our main entrees arrived shortly after, perfectly portioned and perfectly presented. As I overlooked my friends plate, her dish reminded me of an abstract painting gilded in colors and textures. The scent of fresh pasta oozed off my bowl calling my tastebuds to savor each morsel. We were never interrupted but our glasses were always full, and empty plates seem to glide right off before our eyes. By the time dessert rolled around, we were completely satiated, but made room. Our dessert of juniper berry tartufo and panna cotta was simple and refreshing. Not too tart with the right amount of creaminess and sweetness. My guest and I had a lovely time at Lincoln and look forward to coming back. Despite it's upscale persona, the vibe is comforting, the staff personable, and the food poetic. They have come a long way since their opening and keeps getting better and better.

    Lincoln is Fabulous!

Had a great evening at Lincoln. Room was beautiful, chairs very comfy, Service and food outstanding! The cocktails were also great. Very unique list of creations. The bar area looked like a great place to visit. Loved the open kitchen. Breads were wonderful, pastas incredable. Mains were a tad salty, our only issue. Also dessert was delightful, the pana cotta perfect.

    lovely....

yes, it's not cheap. i don't know why anyone would go there thinking it would be... but frankly the renovated lincoln center is amazing - the atmosphere is really lovely. food was delicious (had the bolognese, bronzino, lamb, and gelati) the service was impeccable and all in all it was a very good experience. sure i won't go every day but for more special occasions it's lovely.

    Excellent!

I have to say I was a bit nervous given the reviews but I am very glad I went. The place was worth it. Not any more expensive than the rest of NYC. The portions were fairly large based on what I ordered (couldn't finish final course). Burrata was an amazing starter as was the sweetbreads. They also do this great thing of splitting up two pasta orders into the same dish for you and your dining mate to share. Interesting dish...I will have to find out where to get one. The cuttlefish dish was amazing with the squid ink pasta. Perfectly cooked. The decor is not cold although I thought it might be because it was 20 degrees outside. Nice carpet which keeps you warm. Another plus is the extremely comfortable chairs....they are heavy but swivel which was cool. The service was very nice and accommodating since someone in my party showed up 30 minutes late. Wine list is in check from a pricing perspective (thought is was going to be high). All in all I would go back in a minute and will.
