Easiest Gluten Free Lunch in the Hood!
I love this place - order or go here at least once a week. There's so much variety and so many GF options, that I never feel like I'm stuck eating the same thing everyday. The delivery is quick, and when I only have 45 min to go there to grab a bite, they are super quick bringing my order. The lunch specials are a great value, but it tends to get pretty pricy if you're ordering anything a la carte.

Take out! muah!
I ordered the PAd Thai with extra fried Tofu for lunch and had it delivered to my office! Fast delivery, the food was HOT and tastes GREAT! The pad thai is just how I like it and the Miso soup was delish!!! 5 stars and a great experience, I will be odrdering from here more often! Plus in this neighborhood its hard to find a great full lunch for $10!! The soup was included! The portion is VERY generous!

The last straw
We have had take out from Lili and Loo many times and have always considered it the average, but close place to get take out when we had no other ideas. The neighborhood is limited when it comes to Asian cuisines. But tonight was the last straw. The pan fried noodles were so greasy, the moo shoo vegetables tasted like the cook accidentally spilled extra rice vinegar in the wok and the dressing for the beef salad was not good. And to top it off, it just wasn't a good value. We are not ordering from here again!

hoped for more
I chose to go here in my quest to find the best mongolian beef in nyc. After reading numerous positive reviews here, I decided to check it out. It wasn't anything special at all, actually bordering mundane. The service was decent, but it sort of killed the mood when everyone working there seemed very bored and uninterested. The mongolian beef was alright but it lacked flavor and tenderness, and I would have preferred more scallions instead of broccoli. I thought the portion was relatively small, especially for the $15.50. Overpriced. My friend did enjoy the soup though. All in all, I don't recommend this place.

Good Asian restaurant in the heart of midtown
Lilli and Loo isn't the best Asian restaurant I've eaten in but it's pretty good. The service is prompt and efficient. The food is pretty much standard Asian restaurant fare but there are some delicious surprises such as their warm beef salad, spicy and tangy and nutritious. Their sashimi is melt-in-your-mouth fresh and one of the best bargains in New York at $12.95. And their fresh fruit drinks are delicious and refreshing, especially something called lemongrass limeade which I could drink by the gallon -- it's that good.

mediocre
The nice interior certainly gave me some hope, but the food was at best mediocre. I ordered from the Lunch menu which might have compounded the problem, but any half way decent restaurant would not have its customers eat this stuff. It seems that what they offered you was what you would get from the $5.00 menu (everything included) from a hole in the wall Chinese place that serviced "the more food the better" crowd, but in a nice surrounding (I only had one bite of the "Beef" which suspiciously tasted like can). In any event, since I frequent restaurants pretty much based on the food, they certainly wil not see me again.
