    Appalled and Hungy

I just picked up a small order of spare ribs for $10+ and was absolutely appalled at the small size of the portion. Instead of the few meaty ribs I was expecting I got 10 or so bite-size bones with a tiny bit of meat on each. Also, I didn't know that it came with rice and would have appreciated them asking me whether I wanted white or brown before automatically defaulting to white. I feel so robbed.

    Below NYC standard

Unfortunately, this Chinese cuisine was lacking in several key areas like flavor and temperature! Both charges are inexcusable. Having never written a review on here, we were compelled by the disapointment in our meals. Staples such as wonton soup and sweet and sour chicken were bland and cold. The only bright spots were ok scallion pancakes and pork fried rice.

Attentive service yet lacking something flavorwise

Lili's noodles was always my go to noodle shop and chinese place in nyc. take out, eat in, delivery, whatever. The food was great and still is, but I have seen an apparent yet slight decrease in flavor. Although the chinatown style roasts are still just as flavorful and succulent, certain less authentic dishes are lacking classic heat and taste. Although this may not be a bad thing to some people, to me I feel like I am missing something when my noodles arent covered in a tasty thick sweet yet spicy sauce (somewhat resembling teriyaki). If the noodles are perfect authentic tender noodles sauce isnt a requirement, but for these slightly above average variety its needed for my taste preference. I still love Lilis and would definitely return, but will stick to other dishes

    I got nothing I ordered!

There seems to be a disconnect between whoever takes the order and the kitchen. When I called back, they read my order back to me just as I ordered it but it was not what I got. They said they would send out the order again but an hour later? Nothing. I'm so pissed. 40 bucks in the hole.

    Good food

I love this restaurant... Not super healthy but their scallion pancakes are super good and their Lilis bun thing is incredible with the pork... Their panfried noodles with veggies and chicken are also really good and a little less fattening. :). The only bother is how long it takes the food to get here, but I personally think it's worth it.

Save your dollars and have lunch/dinner elsewhere

After long time my wife and I did not visit the place, we've decided to give it a shot ... OMG, what a disappointment We went there for lunch, and tried couple of appetizers and shared a main course ... It was bad, ... really bad The service was good, and the time it took the food to arrive was decent as well ... however the food quality was not satisfying ...
