Healthy, beautiful, wonderful. Pricey, but it's the most consistent of any place I know, after 20 years in Manhattan. Best Raw and vegan food to give someone who hates raw and vegan--you might not convert them, but they will never look at healthy food of any kind in the same way. Crowded most of the day, but it's always worth it.

I love this place because I love the food and you can find the best things here. I've been going there for years and I love it. It's a great natural market.

This has the best selection of prepared raw foods in the Village. It also has tons of great vegetarian and vegan foods (although they do serve some meat dishes!). Also has a good juice bar. Love the hot food buffet, but it can be pricey $9.50/pd. Seating upstairs, normally pretty quiet. Great place!

I disagree with the previous poster, their seitan and tofu wraps are good and a great value. They have the best vegan cookies in town and a great selection. I love that they have pre-made vegan pies, puddings and muffins and more. Also have a great raw prepared foods selection and desserts too! There dessert case is Kosher too. Healthy has an array of flavors sometimes it's with spices and sometimes the veggies have to speak for themselves.

I am writing this in hopes that Life Thyme will make improvements in their prepared products offered as I like the idea of "healthy" options in such a great location. However, healthy and/or vegetarian does not have to mean tasteless! Just go to any Italian restaurant in Little Italy- they know how to prepare vegetables so much better than in this place (and I'm talking about without having to add meat). Also their desserts look so yummy- but again, strange flavors and off textures. Meanwhile I know for a fact that tofu cheesecake is possible to be yummy- if done in the right hands. (Try Teany's pumpkin cheesecake for comparison- YUM). As to their other offerings, no better or worse than a smaller version of Whole Foods.
