This amalgam of all that makes this dish you either love or hate great or horrible is actually better at home than in house. (That was some meandering sentence of bad or unheard of syntax) the point is , heat these up at home and they are delicious. Not sure why some reviews complain about delivery times as i think they have a full kitchen I my closet. This is Chinese food American style. Not the stuff that we eat in Beijing. Thank G-d. If you like the Chinese slop that most of us love this place is great. If your dating a Bedford or Greenwich climber forget it. If your loved one enjoys this particular fare than marry them . Not an iota of pretension here. Yeah I'm a bit bitter over a lost love because I love this stuff and sorry, it stains my objectively .

I travel from Bensonhurst as any good Chinese "Take Out" or Restaurants are no longer in existance in my area. The food at Lichee Nut is delicious. It's worth a trip downtown for me and my family. We love it.

I went inside to order a shrimp with lobster sauce lunch special. My food came out, I swear, like in 2 minutes! That was some fast cooking, or maybe it was cooked already and they just microwaved it! Anywayzzz, for a lunch special, it was expensive. And the shrimps, what shrimps?!!! They were not even jumbo shrimps like what it's supposed to be in Shrimp w Lobster Sauce! I had better, cheaper authentic Chinese food than this.

good grief. just waited an hour and half for delivery of a very basic order. called lichee nut after an hour, was told 'he's on his way'...called again 15 minutes later, same thing...repeat after another 15 minutes, at which point i'm rather vocal about my hunger level and disappointment and the fact that i'll never order from lichee nut again..and then the food arrives...and it's quite warm, meaning it had not left the restaurant 30 minutes earlier as alleged by the voice on the phone. this voice was quick to cite many excuses for the delay, but the truth is that lichee nut is painfully slow with delivery every time i place an order. and now i've reached our limit, and lichee nut is off the list...

Some of the best beef & broccoli I have ever had. Abundant serving, came with soup and brown rice - for just $6.95 can't beat that.
