don't order delivery if you want to eat anytime soon
good grief. just waited an hour and half for delivery of a very basic order. called lichee nut after an hour, was told 'he's on his way'...called again 15 minutes later, same thing...repeat after another 15 minutes, at which point i'm rather vocal about my hunger level and disappointment and the fact that i'll never order from lichee nut again..and then the food arrives...and it's quite warm, meaning it had not left the restaurant 30 minutes earlier as alleged by the voice on the phone. this voice was quick to cite many excuses for the delay, but the truth is that lichee nut is painfully slow with delivery every time i place an order. and now i've reached our limit, and lichee nut is off the list...

$6.95 lunch special
Some of the best beef & broccoli I have ever had. Abundant serving, came with soup and brown rice - for just $6.95 can't beat that.

Drowning in grease
I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food, but get the occasional craving. It was one of those nights. So I ordered from Lichee Nut. The hot and sour soup was good. But the orange chicken was soggy, mostly dough with little meat and drowning in a sea of oil. Chinese food is usually heavy on the oil, but this was almost inedible. Never again.

I'm in shock right now!
I rarely order takeout, but tonight I had friends over who wanted Chinese food. I had ordered from lichee nut once before and it really wasn't too bad for the basic stuff that never should taste bad(general tso's etc.). So, tonight my friends ordered soup and two chicken entree's. 45 minutes went by and still no food. My buddy called and 15 min later the food arrived however there was no general tso's chicken. He called again and they said "we have a new bag lady, we'll send you another chicken," and asked for our info once more. So okay, that happens I get it, but then 30 more minutes go by and still no chicken! So he calls again, and the woman says "it's on it way, what's your address?" So now we are looking at an hour and a half and still no general tso's! He calls again 10 minutes later and now a guy answers(The Owner haha). He informs us that they're closed and asked what we wanted. My friend explains that he never got his food and paid for it with a credit card. The owner says their is nothing he can do as the register women had already gone home! This started at 830p on a Sunday and ended at 1045 with no general tso's chicken. The owner said he would call my friend tomorrow(ya right). So lets just say it wasn't a good experience for the host, or his guest. We paid for food and never received it which is why I would never, ever, recommend this place to anyone.
