    Great food! but not cheap.

A local shopkeeper recommended this spot when I was shopping in NOHO. Said that shed lived in Korea and this was the most authentic place in NYC that she'd found since returning. I agree the food was great! The prices were a bit over the top for Asian fare -- rice, veggies and a bite of meat.

    Times has changed

Don't go there at 1 PM lunchtime. YOu have to wait endlessly. Don't waste your time - order in. The food is good.

    Decent korean in Little Italy/Chinatown

I live in the neighborhood and there are lots of choices for food. Li Hui is the only Korean restaurant that I can think of. The food is frankly quite good and reasonable in price. I've done takeout numerous times and eaten there a few. Lunch is especially a good value with their boxes. There Soon-Doobu and Hot Pot Bimbimbat are especially good. Restaurant is generally quiet and can sometimes be empty so there is never a long wait.

Good Value, Great Food, Excellent Svc!

To walk into this place, you don't expect much.  But once seated, you are immediately confronted with some of the nicest staff that you have met in any NY City Rest.  They are extremely attentative and take their time explaning the menu to a lonely customer that doesn't know Korean food too well. You get a lot for your dollar at this place combined with the superb wait staff.  You will definitely enjoy your evening.

    yum

Went here a few months ago with a bunch of people. It's a little out of the way for me but hopefully I'll make it back again soon, becuase I loved the food! As a disclaimer, I've never been to K-town, mostly because I've heard it gets expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came at Li Hua.

    Lovely food, lovely restaurant

I'm vegetarian (on rare occasion I eat fish, and will eat things made with fish broth) and went to Li Hua because I'd read about their great tofu. I used to live in LA and would regularly go to Korean Town to the tofu houses for soon doo bu jigae, and have been looking for a place that serves it like they do. I tried a few places in KTown here, but this is the place. Everything was delicious, and its a pleasant and cozy ambiance. The only thing I'd like is an egg for the soon doo bu. I can't wait to try their bibimbap!

    Not K-Town, but still great

Good food, good service, and it won't hurt your wallet at all. Order their Duk Mandooguk if you're the soup dumpling loving type.
