Very Disappointed.
I just ordered the Spicy Tuna rolls, and Avocado salad and I must say the food is not very good. The salad, was well, a salad, and was fresh but nothing to wow about. The spicy tuna rolls were the real let down. The rice was falling off of the rolls as soon as you tried picking them up. The tuna was also very fatty and had a very unnatural texture to them. If you've had better before, this place just doesn't do it as a neighborhood go to place. *Also, the food is overpriced and delivery takes too long. Its' really not worth a try.

Me and my family were blown away by the freshness of the fish. So tender, flavorful. Wow!

don't be deceived!
Don't be deceived by the fact that this place is always empty because it can't mean that the food isn't good because it's great. I read that someone had a bad experience and I've probably ordered from them 100 times (i think 99% of the people do take out or deliver) and only once was the food sub par because all of the other times it was really great. The one downside is the location. I think because of the street it's on people think it's gonna be crappy but it's not.

Best sushi in LES!
I totally love this place and the people who work there are great! I order nearly twice a week and it's always incredible. I think I've tried almost every street named special roll and I'd have to say the East River Roll is the best! The food is great but everytime I walk by it, it's usually empty. I hope they stick around!

Sad!
I will make this as brief as possible. I moved across the street from LES Sushi right before it opened. I loved the sushi and the staff is great. I ordered once a week. About a month ago I ordered and the sushi was just plain bad. I called to let them know and they apologized and said they had recently changed chefs. I ordered again tonight to give it another chance and it was even worse (rolls falling apart, unripe avocado, stale rice, cold tempura, etc.). I am posting this because I want the old LES Sushi back. If you have had the same experience please let them know. I will not be ordering from there again if nothing changes.
