The frisee aux lardons was the best ever!

best in the financial district, but....
that isn't saying much. If you live here, enjoy. Otherwise, walk to Tribeca for the far superior Odeon.

They refuse to Deliver!
I eat here at least two times a week. There is no doubt the food is exceptional!! But I beg the management at Les Halles to please - consider offering delivery???...at least to very local area...

A good bistro
Les Halles has a very traditional bistro menu, a type of food that is becoming increasingly rare in New York. The food is good but could use abit more excitement. the mussels are large and fresh but unexcitingly prepared. the frites are outstanding as are the excargots. Easily worth the price.

A pleasant French Bistro
Les Halles is a fine specimen of taht dying breed the French bistro. The escargots, the moules, the pommes frites are all well prepared and nicely served. the wine list is excellent and nicely priced. Tables are a bit crowded but it is a pleasant place. The cheese plate is a bit pedestrian, but we enjoyed everything else we sampled.

Great little french bistro
Cozy unpretentious bistro with good food, decent atmosphere especially if u can get into the back room. The steak frites keeps me coming back. Reasonable prices too.
