2 hours for delivery and . . .
The food takes over 2 hours to come. That would be bad enough. But it's obvious that the bottleneck is at the "deliveryman" point, not the sandwich making point, since the sandwich arrived soggy, with the tomato juices having soaked through. The drink and fish were warm. Nothing more appealing that thinking of you lunch sitting out for 2 hours, while you wait hungry. Avoid like the plague for delivery.

Good but pricey
The food is excellent but the prices are a bit high. Not sure if I'll be back

Great bagels downtown
This place is great. Their bagels are chewy and fresh, and their cream cheeses (regular and flavored) are delicious. They always put just the right amount - there's never "too much" for this girl! They are definitely on the pricey end, but for the neighborhood, it's unfortunately to be expected. Their coffee is good too (most of the time - sometimes it's burnt). I don't know why folks are complaining about service. I go to Leo's all the time and everyone is so nice. If anything, my fellow patrons are nasty. Lots of rich renters and Wall-Street types in the neighborhood, and it shows. Maybe if people were nicer to the servers and didn't bark orders at them (which I see often), they would be nicer to you. I see people rudely complain to servers about the most ridiculous minutiae of their bagel orders. I'm nice to the staff, and I've received nothing but great service. I also tip every few trips or so. I should add that I'm a native New Yorker (Brooklynite to be exact), so I know my bagels, and this place is spot-on.

Great bagels -- unfriendly employees
The bagels are awesome -- very good. The employees aren't very friendly.

Not recommended
I have lived downtown for the last four years. I have ordered from Leo's bagels since the very start, I run a fashion photography business and often order food for the team. Each and every time I order I receive attitude from the cashier. It is hard to believe that when I am pouring money into their business they are so aggressively pushing me away. What is even harder to believe is that the woman who always takes my orders is the manager! Finding out that this woman runs Leo's floored me. For instance, I recently called and ordered one half pound of chicken salad. When I received the order, I soon realized it was only a 1/4 pound. I called and the man who answered said he would send another 1/4 immediately. A few moments later I received a call from the "manager" who refused to send more. When I insisted that is was only a 1/4 she told me I was lying and that she packed it herself. She went on to say that I was "basically telling her that she is bad at her job" this is not close to what I was saying at all although, she is right. This woman is aggressive, condescending, and angry at the world. I am completely offended and refuse to ever step foot in Leo's again.

Best Bagels Ever!
They are soft and chewy and warm and the cream cheese is light and airy and creamy. The OJ is really fresh and tasty and citrusy

The cream cheese was better than the bagel
The bagels were pretty good, but you have to go early in the morning to get them fresh and warm. We went there twice and I got the maple raisin walnut cream cheese. It was delicious! We ended up all getting it again the next day. The only problems we had were that the price was a little high and the staff was rushed so they didn't listen much if you had a special request.
