I have had consistently poor luck here. When I think about a place like Ess-a-Bagel and compare, this pales. The everything bagels don't have any salt at all, in fact only onions and a bit of garlic. The texture of the various sorts was a bit dry and a bit too dense. I don't understand why this place gets great reviews.

Lenny's has great food great service, and everone is friendly and nice. I'd recommend it over any other bagel shop in the city.

18 bagels for $8. they actually cover BOTH sides of the bagel with the flavoring (now making the bottom half my fave). go knowing what you want, however. with over 20 varieties of bagels and the fast service, you want have time to linger over all the flavors!

In a nutshell, lenny's rules. Best bagels around, and they even have some creative varieties, not just the old standards. Plus, they have great, great coffee. The mix of great bagels and great coffee is sadly difficult to find, I think. They also have a good selection of regular and low-fat cream cheeses and salads (they even have low-fat egg and tuna salad, which is incredibly rare). The folks behind the counter are pretty quick and nice; occasionally they've forgotten to put things in my bag, but that's bound to happen some time when you go there every day like i do!

For taste, texture, price, and quality, some of the best bagels I've ever had. These bagels uplift a man.

Great sirvce, quick, fast and friendly. Some of the best bagels I've ever tasted. Apart from the bagels, you also get EXCELLENT muffins (especially the choclate ones). They offer bagels and muffins to treat every taste in everybody. Cheap too! (60 cents for a plain bagel!!)

I stop by here every morning on my way to work. What more could you ask for? The service is fast and friendly, bagels are some of the best I've had -- and we're talking NYC here, the bagel mecca. Trust me, you won't find better bagels anywhere else. I sometimes see Kiss Me Kate's leading actor Brian Stokes Mitchell grabbing a bagel sandwich here. Lenny's has tons of drink options; coffee is good and strong.
