Many pros, a few cons
For the most part, I love Lenny's. They churn out high-quality sandwiches on very good breads efficiently and relatively quickly. Their specialty sandwiches are very tasty and a few are even addictive. My only criticisms: The egg sandwiches are unappetizing. They're invariably overcooked to the point of being very dry. Any egg sandwiches including cheese are topped with cold, unmelted slices. Lastly, their "Novie" has to be the most under-stuffed lox sandwich in the city. They really skimp on the salmon as compared to any of the popular bagel joints or delis.

Consistently poor service!
One thing you can always say about Lenny's on Columbus between 74th and 75th is that there service is subpar. It's almost as though the go out of their way to hire the most unfriendly people. Food is good but that's about the only thing they have going for them.

Over-rated "deli"
Food quality is mediocre. Atmosphere is acceptable. Pricier than average deli w/ average deli taste. PS, they charge for delivery... plus the guys still expect a tip. (Not cool in my book.)

Great Food, Close WAY Too Early
Their sandwiches are some of the best in the city. Lots of creative choices and all of them piled high. But this is the only restaurant I know of that closes EARLIER on Fridays and Saturdays. What insanity! Closing on 8pm on Saturday night? Get your act together, Lenny!
