very fresh - very consistent
I usually order delivery from them ( 48th street) 1-2 times a week - food is always fresh. I had the pastrami for the first time today, and it was excellent. HIghly reccomend it.

Great Sandwiches
This place has delicious sandwiches (I hear the chopped salads are pretty good too). Just be wary that it can be a bit intimidating for new customers during peak lunch times. Here's how it works: 1. Know what you want to order before getting on line. 2. After you place your order, go over to the cash register to pay. 3. Step aside and wait for them to call your order. 4. Enjoy! There aren't a lot of open tables during peak times so you may have to take your sandwich elsewhere.

Great selection of cold cuts
Delicious sandwiches prepared very quickly. I was amazed by the amount of cold cuts and cheeses to choose from. Although it made my decision more difficult I was impressed as to how fresh the food was.

Solid
Lenny's is great. Don't bother looking at the menu, just create your own sandwich, any way you like it. They have everything.

Awesome Lunch Choice in Midtown
Lenny's is a wonderful addition to the Midtown lunch scene. It is always packed, but they have an efficient method for ordering and serving sandwiches. My favorite thing here (get it every time) is their fresh roasted turkey breast. It is not the crappy deli stuff - it is right off the breast, just like at Thanksgiving. You need to get it on toast, so any juices from the meat doesn't completely destroy the bread. Ask for romaine lettuce and cranberry sauce, and you would think you were at Mom's on Black Friday, eating leftovers. Except the turkey is warm!
