Not worth it
I ordered takeout and was blown away with how bland the food was. I ordered a peanut curry and it had no real taste at all. Plus, the potatoes that they put in the curry were sort of like breakfast potatoes. They definitely did not taste fresh. Plus, they did give you rice with their dishes, which is insane for a thai place. The food is overpriced considering how bland it is. I love Thai food but would not order from there again. There are too many good (authentic) places in NYC.

Apparently rice is not included...a bit of a rip off...but seriously all those complaints about the restaurant because of rice? I mean this is the CITY we are talking about. You would expect prices to be around the range this restaurant offers. If you want some cheap priced food then go to chinatown. Food is marvelous, mostly their Fun in Black, delivery speed is quick!. Service is...acceptable. Atmosphere could be better.

My boyfriend and I both love Thai and had never had a disappointing Thai experience - until now. I ordered a calamari salad to start - it smelled! I could not touch it! And my boyfriend - who eats ANYTHING - actually asked for it to be taken away because the smell was overpowering. We both ordered curries for our mains and both were not edible! They must have used 10 cups of salt in the dish! Again - we turned them away. We both left hungry and ate elsewhere.

downhill fast
completely agree with the recent reviews below. i used order from here all the time - it was my go-to thai spot. now, it's a sad shell of a restaurant. the prices have climbed while the portions decreased. it's absurd. also, the pad thai used to be one of the best (well, in this area) and now it's extremely, extremely salty. on the plus side, they deliver super-quickly -- although i wish they took more time to make the food better.

1/2 empty soup container, really?
This place is really hit or miss. I've had okay food here and some not so okay food. Recently I ordered a Tom Ka soup, when I opened the delivery bag the soup container was only half full, seriously. My husband ordered the calamari, which was rubbery and tough. Since we'd had mostly good experiences we didn't completely write them off. The other day we tried them again, we ordered the Oceans Four, the sauce was great, but the sticky rice was hard and undercooked and the scallops were disgusting. They were fishy and not at all fresh. I'm pretty over Lemongrass at this point.

giving you less for your $
I've been ordering from this Lemongrass for years now. It's always been dependable -- food arrives quickly, is tasty, etc. But I've been noticing that they're giving you less and less food for the same dish -- and raising the prices slightly. I noticed because I always order the same thing and have been needing to shell out more $$ than before. And there's barely any rice and mango in the rice and mango dessert now! Please change back before you lose a loyal customer.
