Lemongrass Grill (CLOSED)

I ordered eggplant and tofu that was swimming in oil, there is absolutely no reason to cook a portion of vegetables in that much oil! I could not finish the food. I was very disappointed because the meal was a waste of money.

Live a few blocks from the William street location and thought I would give it a try. Don't listen to the previous negative comments. I had the Panang Curry w/Shrimp to-go and it was fantastic. Ive had many Thai Curries before it this one was the best. I counted 10 large shrimp and lots of peppers. Overall great meal.

I live in the area and usually only order from here when everything else is closed. I never had a problem but lately the food is becomming worse and worse. Ok so the chicken always tasted a little cardboardy but I looked past that because they were open late. But the last couple of times that I ordered really disappointed. Got a curry dish with shrimp a few weeks ago. When I got home they had just put the lid on without closing it so it was all over the bag. And the dish turned out to be just the curry 4 shrimp and 4 slices of pepper.....really disappointing for $13. I ordered from there again getting chicken this time. Got home the dish was suposed to have eggplant, string beans good stuff. There were a couple of pieces of peppers and a little bit of chicken and it was cold. Know what I take it back don't bother eating here at all.

In Thailand, everything is cooked very fresh and dishes are brought out as they're finished, and everyone is supposed to share. Yes, this is America, but that at least explains why your dishes were brought at separate times. Look at it as a cultural experience! This is a great restaurant.

The food is served at lightning speed during the lunch hour. Still the food is delicous and very flavorful. Tofu and fish entrees are delicously prepared.

I went here for lunch last week with some co-workers. I had a party of 6 which is a disaster for this place. Very tight seating.. The hostess was unhappy when she saw the party size..The waiter was very friendly. Only thing - they brought everyone's food out at seperate times.. The first dish came out 15min before the last dish.. The food was very very good. I would say for the price -it is worth it. If you are looking for the dining experience - pass on this place. There is nothing intimate about it. I would go again though the food was remarkable - I had the Sweet Basil chicken.. Very good.

I have been eating here since my freshman year at NYU, and everytime I go the food is amazing. The service is excellent and delivery takes about 15 minutes which is unheard of in new york!
