Most honest delievery in NYC
I felt compelled to post this after reading the previous post about the tip problem. Granted I have not ordered from Lemongrass for several months because their food is bland, but the last time I did order I over tipped the delivery guy and did not realize it. I mixed up $1 bills with $20 bills. (yes this is stupid, I know). Anyway, the delivery guy went back to the restaurant then came all the way back to my apt to try to tell me in broken English that I had clearly tipped him too much. I've never had anyone be this honest. I would love to give Lemongrass more business, if they had more flavorful food.

watch out this restaurant
I have to tell you about the experience I had - they delivered my food with one order short and the lady on the phone demanded that my tip of $5 on a $50 was not enough and that to complete my order they needed another $3. They were extremely rude about it, saying that 10% is not enough of a tip. I plan on never ordering from them agian because she refused to deliver the order until I agreed to pay the extra fee.

Good takeout and chill place
Kind of what you expect from a chain restaurant. But it's always dependable and fast, and the food is surprisingly good. I like the food, though it's sometimes a bit too saucy and oily. Pretty standard thai food Not the greatest place for dining in. On weekdays drunk people sing kareoke. On weekend's, it's nice a quiet, but you get a ton of delivery guys walking back and forth. Slightly below average on the portions, you maybe left a bit hungry from just one entree

Mmm, Mmm, Good
Ive been to the Lemongrass Grill twice in 96th street and Broadway. The thing is, if you want a very relaxed atmosphere and wonderful flavorful food, then come here. One little thing that annoyed me though, if you sit in the front of the restaurant the waiters just stand there watching you eat, lol. Its ok! this just means you get you're stuff faster. Also, I took my sister here after my first time because I loved it so much. We got there at 6 and were done by 6:35. I was amazed. Wonderful place.

Tasteless Food
I ordered the Noodle Mao for lunch. It was one of the most tasteless Thai food I've had. The menu listed it as a spicy dish, but it was not spicy at all. The food also had too much oil. In the end, I could not finish the food and wasted $8. Will not order here again.

Never smile
These people have a tough time hearing and placing orders. Take out orders should be received in a quieter part of the restaurant preferably by someone well versed in the english language and never smile, Good luck receiving the correct order!

Good place for karaoke
I was there on Monday and had some drinks at the bar. It was not very crowded by the time I got there so I had lots of fun singing karaoke with my friends. The service was great. Highly recommended.
