I keep going back for their papaya salad, which is excellent. However, I'd have to say that an overwhelming majority of my visits have resulted in my disappointment over their cooked food, particularly the vegetarian dishes that cannot be saved by fatty proteins. The dishes are almost invariably over salted - and oddly enough - over sweetened. Produce can be beautifully sauteed to make a wonderful dish, but I generally received a mushy, over cooked, over sauced mess of (what appears to be) left-over vegetable scraps. Sorry, Lemongrass Grill, but you could do better.

There is absolutely no decent Thai in Brooklyn Heights. So I took a chance and called to see if they would deliver all the way here. They would. I was a bit skeptical because the LG's in Manhattan are so-so. First, we couldn't believe how fast the delivery was - less than 20 mins! And the food was very tasty and done the way we asked, extra spicy. Our Thai problem solved!

We had dinner for the first time at Lemongrass Grill this evening using a $25 dining certificate purchased from restaurant.com, which might explain the poor quality of food. We had fish cakes and fried calamari for starters - the fish cakes were tasty but the oversized portions detracted from the flavor, and the calamari was overcooked. I had the laksa beehoon noodles which was bland. My boyfriend ordered the tamarind duck, which was well cooked and tender but unfortunately the sauce was too sweet. The service was very polite but unfortunately it seemed like they cooked for all the other patrons and take out orders before finally serving us.

The first time I ate here, I was not very impressed. But tonight I was craving Thai food, and decided to give Lemongrass Grill another try. The Tom Yum soup was good, if not spicy enough. But that was easily remedied with a little hot sauce. The papaya salad, however, was fantastic! I spent some time in Thailand, and I found this to be very authentic. The rest of the food I ordered was good, the delivery was pretty fast, and the portions were generous. Not the best ever, but I was completely satisfied.

my boyfriend and i were starving so we headed to lemongrass grill. food was delicious and service was prompt. I'm typically not a fan of curries, but his curry dish was delicious. glad we chose not to wait at joya and enjoyed a quieter and less hectic environment. definetly will be back!

i came here because Joya was packed but i ended up liking it its not as cheap as Joya but it gives it a run for the money in terms of food

The ambiance in this lemon grass grill is amazing. Just enough lighting, just enough loudness of music and the bamboo sticks are an excellent addition to the decor. The food is colorful, tasty and fresh. The service is quick, pleasant and well mannered. The price is very close to other Thai restaurants in cobble hill and park slope. This is probably the best Thai restaurant that we've been to. Keep it up Lemon Grass Grill!
