Hope you're not in a hurry. When I called to say the food had not shown up I was told they were busy. So why does the seamless app say delivery in 30-45 minutes? Oh, because we weren't busy then. The delivery guy who eventually showed up showed me other deliveries he had with him- they were ordered 45 minutes after my order. So the restaurant cooked and held our order and sent out the delivery guy with them all at once. Good for them. But it means it took 1.5 hours to get lunch delivered. Cold mediocre food showed up 1.5 hours after we ordered it. Fail.

I started going to LG in Park Slope in the late 90s and they absolutely had The Best Pad Thai back then. Fast forward to 2014, what a wreck this place has turned out to be - at least the one on Court St in Bklyn. Lack of ingredients, lack of customer service, lack of quality dishes, just overall meh. This kind of thing always makes me sad. I was really craving summer rolls and they said they were out of the ingredients. How are you out of vegetables and rice paper wraps? So done.

A group of my friends when to this place and a lot of us ordered the pineapple chicken and they said that there was not enough pineapples... when there's a market right across the street! Disappointed in their lack of interest for the customer.

On occasion for lunch my friends and I would go there for lunch. Its been a month since my friends and I went so we decided to go there for lunch when we got our food, they did check on us to see if everything was okay. As we was getting ready to leave and it was time to pay for the food my friends left the tip on the table and I walked over to the cashier to pay most of it cash and the rest credit but when I was signing the slip I crossed out the tip part cause I don't want them charging it on my card and the women there I'm not sure if she was a manager there but when I handed her the receipt she said "every time you come here you never leave the waitress tip." I was so upset cause i haven't eaten there in a month plus the tip was on the table so when i brought it to her attention I didn't even get an apology. I don't think i want to eat there again cause I felt that was rude and disrespectful. Plus every time I go there I always leave tip, I don't know if she confused me with another person but that really bothered me and now I don't feel the need to eat there again.

I have to agree with a previous reviewer. I've lived in the hood for 10 years, used to live around the corner from LG, and relied on consistently good food, always fresh, always excellent service for both onsite and delivery (save one cranky delivery guy who despises stairs). In recent months, I've found the quality has gone down significantly, quality of ingredients, preparation and consistency, and the service is mediocre at best. They've even changed the way they package their takeout. Maybe there's been a change in management or cooking staff? Whatever the reason, I had hoped it was just a bad night, or two... time to find another neighborhood favorite, and there's certainly no lack of good candidates. Sorry, LG. It was nice while it lasted...

The food is great! They just need to work on their service, other than that the prices are really affordable.

I have been going to LG for years. Used to be one of my favorites. Now seems as if everytime I go it is progressively getting worse. Just not as delicious, and well seasoned. If you get delivery forget it. I have been hoping it will return to when it was to die for. just never happens. Moving on to better lemongrass pastures.....
