We just ordered in from Legend again, hoping the third time would be the charm. Not so. The best I can say is that the food came relatively fast. But the beef with string beans was very bland, another dish (chicken with chestnuts) tasted very odd and unplesant--and was all brown, with no veggies--and the sesame noodles were blah. Much as I've been rooting for this place, and for it to be our new go-to (or take-out) local Chinese restaurant, I'm afraid it's off the list. I'll stick to to other places if I want good Asian food.

The spicy noodles were a little heavy on the soy sauce but the pea shoots and kung pao tofu were fantastic. I look forward to eating there again.

Thank you Legend for opening an uptown outpost close to home. The downtown branch has a well-earned reputation for the authenticity of its dishes and its uptown offspring follows suit. First serious Sichuan food in these parts for decades. Haven't eaten in the restaurant yet -- seems a bit too bright -- but the delivery has been terrific. Highly recommended: the crispy prawns w/ aromatic pepper salt, Chonqqing diced chicken w. chili peppercorn, dry spicy tasty chicken, spicy cellophane noodle w/ minced pork (aka ants on trees), shrimp wontons, dry sauteed string beans. And a small touch: they punch a hole in the tops of delivery containers of fried dishes to keep it from steaming en route. Thoughtful.
