    Not recommended

The waitress spend more time flirting with customers then serving. I don't even know why this place is still open for business

The most disappointing German food and service

First it took forever for someone to take our order. The waitress finally came and seem like she did not want to take our order. We ordered beer and was missing a coaster. She never gave us an extra one. It took so long for the food to come and it was the poorest German food I have ever had. We ordered another pitcher of beer, the waitress did not take to old pitcher and the old glasses. Have anyone heard of India Curry sauce in a German food? Never again

    Solid German Food

Came here for lunch with my wife and was very happy with the experience. For appetizers, we had the pretzel with mustard and the potato soup. The pretzel was blah, but the soup was lovely and rich with the herbs in the forefront. Our entrees were enjoyable; I had the pork shank, which can feed 3 people easily. The pork was tender and cooked much in the same way one would find in Munich. My wife had the jagerschnitzel, which was nicely breaded with a delicious gravy. The service we received was excellent which was to be expected as we were the only diners there. The beer selection was strong, and they have Augustiner, which is one of the harder-to-find Munich beers. Overall, it was a fine meal, but a bit pricey (84 dollars) for lunch. Still, in comparison to Heidelberg and Hallo Berlin, Lederhosen is a cut above.

    don't bother

I waited 15 minutes for a lukewarm mug of water, got my teabag, no sugar, no lemon. Then the wrong food order, and once it came, it was awful. Also, got some food that I did not order and the waiter insisted that we ordered this. Yeah, it was for the other people with whom we shared the table. RUDE service is right, probably because he had to wear Lederhosen. Stick to drinking beer, forget the food.

    Very Good German Food!

I went here with a friend after work recently for dinner and a drink. The German food was very delicious and we loved the kitschy decor. The waitress was attentive and mild mannered. I highly recommend this place! So happy to have found it!

    Scary backwards

The beer is very good at this place. The historic awareness of German un-culture is missed. It is scary how the rudeness of the service, the kitchy starkness of the decor and the allusions to a very unrefined snd unreflected German patriotism creep up on one. One feels like buying into a bit of 1930ies and 40ies ideology in cheering with the beering cheering patrons. There are good things about German culture, Lederhosen doesn't feature them.

    Schweine Haxen

Otto has done it again! I had a really great Schweine Haxen with mashed potato and kraut on Saturday night. This slow roasted pork shank was done to perfection. It was even better washed down with a half liter of Kostritzer. The bar area was full of Beer folk talking about "BEER". For once there were no Crackberries hanging about.
