Funny named after frozen food. My friend wanted to eat here so bad. Anyways, had chicken here that tasted like fish! Turns out, they cooked my chicken in the same pan as someone else's salmon. I hate salmon! To their credit, they made it over again, so they get points for service. It was a very pretty dish and tasted fine the 2nd time. However, the chef should know better so they lose points for food. Also had the drink special, which was cheap. Relaxed atmosphere - not many people. Might go back w/company, but nothing special.

This is a nice neighborhood resturant. The service is very friendly and personable. The food is ok the price is great. Its a great place to kick back after work enjoy some drink specials and not have to spend a fortune on food. Its might not be glam and fabulous but its just right after a hard week.

Good place for both vegetarians and meat eaters looking for a casual, friendly place in Chelsea. Good value, close proximity to Atlantic and Joyce theaters.

I've been here a few times with large parties, and LeAn is good about catering to a diversity of tastes, and accomodating an expanding group. Food is good, service is always SUPER-friendly. A big win all around!

The atmosphere is dingy, the service is awful. For a place called "Lean", their menu is not. I asked for steamed vegetables instead of fries and was denied. Even though they were on the menu. The food is flash frozen and is sub-par by diner standards. Avoid.

Please bear in mind, this restaurant adds an 18% gratuity to your bill if you get the check after 10pm, without any warning. There is no statement on the menu or elsewhere posted in the restaurant that this gratuity is automatic. Also, when you get the credit card slip, there is a printed line for you to write in your tip, so if you aren't looking at your check carefully, you'll end up tipping twice. When asking the waitstaff about this, they just said that the "computer automatically adds this after 10p" and they could remove it if we wanted, and that "management didn't tell me why it's added". It's a shame, because we went here pretty frequently and thought the food was quite good. We've been happy with the service and the atmosphere, but this is a shady business practice that's leaving us with a bad taste in our mouths.

I can not get enough of LeAn. I actually feel healthier when i leave! The food is extremely fresh, portions are perfect, price is right. I recommend the veggie burger with avocado and Carrot dressing. But everything is fantastic.
