After arriving at Le Souk for our friday evening dinner resevation, we were greeted at the door by an employee who told us that Le Souk was closed (and had been for TWO MONTHS) but that we could go to their sister restaurant a few blocks away. This establishement is a houka bar that now serves food. The staff was unappologetic about their bait and switch tactics and the experience was overall disappointing.

We went to Le Souk for my sisters birthday. Me and my sister went to Morocco in July and have been looking for a decent Moroccan restaurant.... I think we finally found what we have been looking for. The service was great and the food was excellent. It reminded us of the Medina in Fez. I only wish that they had more Moroccan music playing and that it was a tiny bit brighter... it was hard to read the menu. Overall we had a great experience and we are definitely going to return.

What a great place if you are on a date. Very romantic atmosphere. Our waitress was very professional and helpful. They also had some magnificent wine. The food was very good. Try their Shrimp appetizer. The Lamb tagine is the best tagine I've ever had in the city, but I would highly recommend it and it's worth ordering. An overall pleasant dining experience.

Le Souk restaurant has multiple areas for private events and special occasions. We had the tent next to the terrace over looking the garden courtyard for my friend’s birthday, all enclosed with a hugh sky light. Amazing!!! Gracious service, belly dancing and DJ later. It was all good!

the food is very fine north African food. Waiter will be after you to imbibe many drinks.

When planning a friend's surprise party, I was often disappointed with the service/ return calls I got from other restaurants. from The moment I called Le Souk the service was fantastic. The party was a huge success with all 12 people having a great time. The food was delicious and came at perfect intervals. The service was attentive and thoughtful. And the belly dancing added a great element of fun to the party. By the way the hookah at Le Souk are AmazingThank you! I will come back here again !

Plan on spending more time here. Food is exactly good and what it promises. Food is brought and picked up promptly. Catch the waitstaff's attention if you need something though. Groups are welcome, and it looks like fun to stay for the 'sheesha' and belly dancing. Will def. return.
