    Yummy bread, cute place

LOVE IT! The bread basket is great, the chocolate spread, and jams are very tasty. I also had the chocolate sugar waffel, WOW! it was the best waffel i have every had. The place has a country home feel about it, you sit on long wooden tables. Apprently there are more of these around NY, I haven't checked any of the other ones out, but the one on E 19 is great, and i recomended it..

Great brunch scene, very much like Europe

Been both to the Central Park and Union Square locations, food was enjoyable at each place. The bread with different jams, pea soup, and unusual sandwiches are very reliable and tasy. Definitely recommend...

    Great Breakfast Bread!

Awesome breakfast bread basket served with something similar to peanut butter (but better), and 2 kinds of jelly. Yummy lattes.

    Simply...The Best!

Each visit to New York is not complete without several visits to this wonderful cafe. The best breads, soft-boiled eggs and lattes on the planet! If you haven't been, you're missing out.

    Rustic and charming

Always a pleasure to have organic, gourmet but wholesome food a rustic atmostphere. Very unique from any other cafe or restaurant and great for lunch or coffee. You feel transported into your own neighborhood 19th century European countryside auberge.

    Never fails

Always fresh and never fails. Great casual environment - very european. Great for breakfast and lunch. Once you buy their bread you'll never buy a commercial brand. The service is courteous and friendly. You definitely get what you paid for. If you're seeking charm, quaintness, and a country feel definitely head for le pain quotidien with or without a book.
