Worst service experience in Soho
Choas, cold coffee, meals arrived 10 min apart in our party of five. No one ate together in our group despite the communal tables.

Try the mint lemonade!
The food here is good, but nothing terribly special. However, the mint lemonade is delicious. It's a little pricey for a glass of lemonade, but on a warm day, trust me, it's so refreshing and worth the splurge!

Don't get the tofu salad
Definitely not worth $10. Clammy raw slabs of tofu are not exactly what I had imagined from the description of the salad. Not reccommended.

Cute, but wasn't all that impressed
In the area of SoHo I am, I find it very hard to find a reasonably priced take out place and so I end up going to a lot of overpriced restaurants and paying $10 for a sandwich. This place is no exception. Although the atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly, I wouldn't recommend take-out here since you don't really get to enjoy all of that. The sandwich I had was not so great, especially for the price. I would recommend it for coffee and pastries though..

Heart
i love this place. I would go here everymorning if i could. The staff is very friendly and fast. The place it self is very bright and perfect for a morning coffee or tea (very good teas). I havent tried much of the menu since im hooked on the grenola parfait and the chocolate spread is so amazing i want to eat it with a spoon. I agree on the bread, it should be of much better quality (especially since im european and know good bread) but u can fix that with the chocolate. Dont go on sunday brunch, its crowded and packed with young families so say goodbye to your morning coffee in peace. One thing that is annoying is that they have had the same specials for months now.. Doesnt make them very special anymore...

Why does Le Pain have such subpar bread?
I love the atmosphere. I love the communal table concept. But shouldn't a place named Le Pain Quotidien have bread that isn't dry and stale? This is a problem at all of the many outposts of this chain that I've tried.

This place is my favorite...
I walk in it is a Thursday afternoon, I find a seat amongst the few, I order my favorite soup, the Gazpacho, Amazing! The service was excellent, always attended to in a timely and efficient manner, with a server who made me laugh. The Gazpacho; to die for, very good, and then the dessert my favorite, the Belgium Chocolate Brownie... After a few bites of the decadent chocolate and a nice double espresso, I left with my stomach full, ready to tackle the rest of my work.
