Poor service and poor management
This was once one of my favorite French Bistros in the city. The service and the quality of the food has dropped significantly. Also the entire place from lighting fixtures to the restrooms are in desperate need of a cleaning. It seems that management has lost its pride in the establishment.

Lovely -- Except For the Service
Though the staff is friendly enough, I always find that they just sort of forget about you. I asked for tobasco sauce for my omelet and I literally asked 4 different waiters, one of them I asked twice, and finally got the tobasco sauce 25 minutes after I had gotten my food. So, by then my food was cold, of course. This happened two of the four times I've been there. Everything else is fine, just bring your own condiments.

Closest Thing to Paris
I have eaten here a number of times and have always gotten the typical Paris faire--moules and frites--with a glass of white wine. The food and service are terrific! If this restaurant was located in the West 60's it would be standing room only!

Excellent Take-Out
I have ordered from this restaurant off and on for the past 11 years but I have to say that the recent changes in staff and management have really made a difference. When I placed my order today it was taken by the most courteous man and it was ready exactly when he said it would be. Now, that's service!

A Poor Experience
This could be a good restaurant. They have LOCATION. But not much else. They just don't seem to be able to get much right: On several visits salmon was raw inside, despite being ordered medium. Once the Bouillabaisse was excellent, the next time tired. Waiter...what waiter? Hard to find, lame, clueless and hostile this evening. But at other times competent, but just that. Manager did respond to our complaint about the food, and compensated us with free desert. But by then we were just eager to leave.

Great service
Last night we went to this restaurant and our waiter was a delight. Other reviews citing bad service were eclipsed by this guy's attentiveness and friendliness. The steak and the lamb chops were delectable.

An excellent neighborhood bistro
I live in the neighborhood, and have been eating there for years. Excellent fish and onion soup, the entrees are tasty, the atmosphere is very French, and the value is very good, because of being near a university. Weekend brunch is also excellent.
