    Best breakfast place

I don't know what that person was talking about but I have been several times and have never had a bad experience. Whenever I have gone I have had to wait but it's definitely worth it. The food is fabulous along with the waitstaff and atmosphere. By far the best breakfast place in the city.

Great Place for Casual Lunch or Dinner

I don't know what the person in the previous post is talking about. This place is great. It's a neighborhood staple that has cheap options. I love their dressing on the salad! The bread is great and I always get the Turkey ratatouille crepe. I have never tried anything but crepes or sandwiches but the lamb sausage sandwich is great too! Their french onion soup is a great find in the winter!

    Makes Me Angry

What could be a great little French place that does simple things well, is simply not. While decor/ambiance is fine, everything else--food first and foremost--is not. Hope you don't get a surly waitress who clearly is not happy about being there. The food is all very mediocre. The reason for the perplexing need to put a sprig of rosemary in every item served is revealed when you actually have a bite: it's no good. And what kind of self-respecting French joint has subpar bread? Merguez sandwichs confusingly includes carrots and is put on tasteless bread. Why is there ratatouille served with everything? Why is a French place serving poor bolognese, or chicken curry (or good version for that matter). Either please change your menu and fire your chef or call it a day.

    Best brunch in NYC

This is the best brunch in the city. Great food, inexpensive, great service, nice atmosphere. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait (close to noon on a weekend), but it's so worth it.

    Le Grainne rocks!

Paris on the corner of 9th Ave and 21st St, without the attitude! Great food, friendly service, warm atmosphere. Bring a good friend or a great book, because you're not gonna want to leave.
