I come to this cozy restaurant quite regularly with my boyfriend, and the food and service never disappoints us. Pamela and her staff are friendly, attentive and well-informed. While this place has a French bistro feel, the food is beyond anything you would ever find in your run-of-the-mill bistro. I've never had a dish here that I didn't enjoy, and while the wine and beer selection is not ample, you'll definitely find something satisfying. I have gluten allergies and find that I can eat about 75% of what's on the menu, which is quite impressive. I highly recommend anything with the crab cakes, chicken liver pate, mushroom garlic soup (when available) and the wintertime cassoulet, which is one of the tastiest entrees I have ever had in my life. For dessert, the flourless chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream will hit the spot. If you're in the mood for something sweeter, try the creme brulee.

My boyfriend and I took my mother here whil she was visiting and she said it was one of the best meals she's had in a long time. I have to agree...great seafood and steak. Tiny little restaurant makes it perfect for groups of two to four. Cute date spot.

Totally charming and romantic. The food was outstanding - the only negative is that the Lobster Risotto special had a bit too much saffron for my taste. But the staff, who seemed to be completely at our service, was friendly and accomodating. It is pricey, but there is nothing more satisfying than getting what you pay for, as we did here. We will be back here for sure!

I took my girlfriend to that place because of the reviews below, but was very disappointed with the service at that place--will never go there again. Everything was okay until the waiter started rushing us to get out and free up the table. It wasn’t worth the money.

Quaint, romantic, exceptional food, great service....what else could you ask for. Perfect date place for you and that someone special for a romantic evening.

I have been to Le Gigot many times, for special family dinners and business dinners that have to be reliably impressive. This restaurant has just never let me down. The food in all categories is superbly prepared and although the menu isn't enormous it's always varied and everyone can have something different and be convinced they got the best thing on the menu. The service is charming and casual without ever being overbearing. You never feel hurried through your meal. The atmosphere is very cozy and at the same time very sociable. The only downside is that it's a very small neighborhood restaurant and can feel packed when it's full (which it invariably is). But the food keeps me coming back whenever I have a special occasion or just need a great and relaxing dinner after a stressful day.
