Mediocre food
The service is excellent and the atmosphere great. The food is unappetizing though. I had bouillabaisse and most of the fish had turned. My boyfriend had the lamb and though the meat was fine the dish as a whole lacked flavor/taste. There are much better restaurants in this neighborhood that cost the same and have Much better food.

Our Romantic Favorite
We've been going to this warm and cozy gift to romance and taste buds for years. It is so exciting anticipating the experience; knowing that you will be warmly greeted and guided through the evening by a very well informed and pleasant wait staff.

Amazing
Adorable place, you feel like you are in France. Food is delicious, service was great. Everything about it was authentic. Not sure what someone was referring to by saying "limited menu". This isn't the Cheesecake Factory....I'd say 10-12 entree choices is plenty. A small place shouldn't have any more. The menu is the right size, anything more would be suspicious. Quality over quantity. Will definitely be back, we LOVED it!!!

birthday celebration
I took my husband here for his 60th birthday because it is his favorite restaurant. Again, it did not disappoint. I had the lobster salad and a beef special for the night as an entree which both were out of this world. My husband had the escargot and bouillabaisee. The waiter was marvelous and we had him make the wine choices for each serving. Delicious! We will be back again and will recommend this restaurant for those who wish to have a wonderful french meal.

the most ill treatment
i am a concierge and i have never been so ill treated as i was when i went here. bear in mind, this was my second visit. here's the exchange....'hi, one for dinner.' "it will be 15min". 'can i sit here?' pointing at the bar. "no. I am gonna sit there". so you are gonna sit there instead of letting a paying customer sti there?" "yes" came the answer. 'wow...are you the owner?'..."yes, I am" she answered. 'what a shame' i said. "you are a shame!" she answered. need i say more?....i haven't even experienced the food yet but if that is the attitude i will encounter....no thank you.

One of my favorites
I come to this cozy restaurant quite regularly with my boyfriend, and the food and service never disappoints us. Pamela and her staff are friendly, attentive and well-informed. While this place has a French bistro feel, the food is beyond anything you would ever find in your run-of-the-mill bistro. I've never had a dish here that I didn't enjoy, and while the wine and beer selection is not ample, you'll definitely find something satisfying. I have gluten allergies and find that I can eat about 75% of what's on the menu, which is quite impressive. I highly recommend anything with the crab cakes, chicken liver pate, mushroom garlic soup (when available) and the wintertime cassoulet, which is one of the tastiest entrees I have ever had in my life. For dessert, the flourless chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream will hit the spot. If you're in the mood for something sweeter, try the creme brulee.

such a gem!
My boyfriend and I took my mother here whil she was visiting and she said it was one of the best meals she's had in a long time. I have to agree...great seafood and steak. Tiny little restaurant makes it perfect for groups of two to four. Cute date spot.
