Greenpoint gem
Love this place. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. The backyard is a little slice of heaven. All the food has gone beyond expectations and all the servers are friendly and sincere. Definitely recommend!

Everything was tasty
The branzino was delicious. The duck was good. Its a bit on the pricier side but its worth the money. Great service.

Not bad, not great
This place can be nice for breakfast or lunch. The room is really nice and gets lots of sun, which is awesome on a cold day. The food is so so, but not terrible. The leeks an goat cheese in the omelette are really good. The main problem is their coffee. It tastes ok but is not that good really, and leaves you feeling awfully jittery, like you had some trucker speed or something. If they had better coffee I might be there every other day or so, but I decided I just can't handle it. Also, there's no reason why this place shouldn't accept credit cards.. That is one of the most annoying things and gladly seems to be slowly disappearing in the neighborhood. I can't imagine a business actually benefits from being cash only. There are so many places that get nixed when making dinner plans because of that inconvenience. Anyway, still have not been to Gamin for dinner, but I'm not in much of a rush to. Really wish it were a little better! I love the vibe in there.

Favorite spot in the neighborhood
Food is delicious! Great atmosphere and hands-down the most relaxing place to have a meal in the area.

A very belated Merci Merci Merci !We hosted a baby shower at future Mommy's favorite resteraunt. And now we all know why. Food was fantastic, Atmosphere was quaint, Service was immpecable. Neighborhood gem!
Stopped in last night w/ my date after a couple glasses of wine. service was extremely warm & cheerful. food was well executed and from quality ingredients. plump escargot, flavorful chicken w/ risotto & mushroom. server totally hooked it up with a free glass of wine (after i slurped down two) which always wins extra points. quiet, romantic, charming, inexpensive. will go back again and again.

Le Amazing!
The food is so delicious, and cheap! French food made by a French chef, the portions are just right, and the desserts are amazing.
