    Amazing experience

We had a fantastic dinner on a Saturday night. Service was prompt and attentive. Not stuffy and snobby at all. We did hand over 1200 for 4ppl. But it was totally worth it. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Food was so fresh and innovative. Wine pairing is the way to dine here. The wine choices complemented each dish. Wonderful, just amazing!

    Fantastic Srevice

We had a weekday luncheon and were surprised at how crowded the restaurant got. The food was wonderful as was the service. If you love sea urchin, this is the place to go, it's among the best. The staff are extremely attentive but not over-bearing. We stiil talk of how much we enjoyed our visit there.

    Outstanding!

I was here in December for my best friend's 40th birthday. The food was amazing, start to finish. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were extremely attentive to us during our meal. The kicker? My friend's dessert was the banana creme brulee with "Happy Birthday" delicately written on her plate. An amazing experience - I would love to come here again.

    Overall it was great

I went there with my fiance and a couple of friends last week. The service was great. The atmosphere was good too, although I felt like I aged 20 years dining there. We were the youngest looking bunch at our early twenties. The servers were very attentive and thats always a plus. We had the tasting course with wine pairing. I would definitely recommend going a la carte on the wine. Not all wines that they paired were my cup of tea. The food was good. I was not too impressed with the appetizers. It was great but nothing that I've never had before. The entrees though really won me over. The salmon was perfectly done, it was so delicate, not overcooked and not raw. It was just perfect. The lobster was also superbly prepared. The portion was also very good. I didn't feel stuffed even with the multiple courses. Overall it was a great experience. but I would probably only go back there with my parents so I don't feel so old.

    Good food

I took my boyfriend there for his birthday. We got there at 6pm. We both enjoy good food and wine so we were looking forward to eating there based on the good review on the NY pages. The server was hard to understand and we did not understand his explanation of the pre-fixe which made ordering a little awkward. The busers were great. I enjoy the flavors of my dishes though it is not the best fried fish I've ever had. Since I was buying my boyfriend didn't complain about his halibut but it was apparent that he did not think it was worth the price. He definitely did not get enough to eat because he was already hungry at 9:30pm.

    Wonder-full

I went to LeBernardine for Christmas dinner with my office, and I really enjoyed myself (as did eberyone else). At first, I thought the restaurant would be very pretentious, and in some ways, it was, but I was very comfortable. The wait staff was amazing: fast, friendly and VERY attentive. The food...the food was sublime. I was in heaven with every bite! I am NOT a seafood lover, but I would probably eat any kind of seafood (minus shrimp because they creep me out!) that is made at this restaurant! The portions were very tiny, but to mine, and everyone elses' surprise, we were TOTALLY stuffed by the end of the night! The wine was great, even though I'm not a huge fan of wine, and I had the best apple martini of my life here! I obviously reccommend this restaurant, but food and service this excellent don't come cheap! Be prepared to spend, spend, spend...but it will be well worth it!

    Astonishing fish

I had a dinner at Le Bernardin in December with family. We all had the Chef's tasting. Impeccable. The sommelier suggested incredible wines by the bottle. Each course dazzled. Then dessert-the best chocolate egg I have ever experienced. The only flaw-the pace of the meal was rather quick, with no time to savor before dessert, coffee was not suggested, nor was cheese, and the check was dropped prior to our request. Not appropriate for any meal, let alone one for 1600 dollars.
