Pancake paradise
I love this place. The decor is understated and has a New Orleans-pub kind of feel (think wooden floors abused by age) and the seats are mismatched, which some find charming, but the food is king in this joint. I sampled the pancakes for the first time today and am in a sugar coma. Ha. Sweet. fluffy, delicious and HUGE!!! The syrup is genuine Vermont maple, which only adds to the decadence and the fruit atop this confection is fresh and savory. You can actually share this dish as there is so much. The croissants are top notch and each time I have visited I have left full and satisfied, from the mac n cheese to the salads. Never a disappointing meal. Ooh la la.

Wonderful Restaurant! Our favorite local!
We love Le Barricou! It's around the corner from our apartment so we frequent it often. The brunch is the best with a wide range cocktails. Beet salad is highly recommended as are the mussels provencale. Our favorite part about Le Barricou is the owner's mom, who is there on the weekdays/nights. Say "hi" to her! She's even better than the menu!!!

Pancakes amazing!
If you love/are looking for a unique, flavorful, sweet and rich pancake experience, then this is the place. Two huge rich pancakes topped with fruit and butter, so satisfying I took one of them home and loves it just the same! Amazing!

Delish but expensive
brunch has croissants at the table! great french food, but pretty expensive, especially dinner. Brunch has some reasonably priced options.

Too bad the service screws them
Everytime I have been here the food has been good to excellent. Oysters are never a disappointment and the cheese plate is amazing. The waitstaff is freaking hot or cold though. They had a new chef who messed up our order, fair enough, things happen, just let me know & pop me a free drink or something.. no the waitress not only ignored us.. she blatantly avoided looking at us. The owner gave us our appetizers & drinks for free because we finally choose to leave rather than wait anymore Anyhow.. will definitely give another try.. they just need to step up the game for the price. Hire seasoned staff..

Misery loves ... ?
This place serves the average dish... but is cooked so spectacular, it's unrecognizable to anything else. It's so good in fact, that I & my lady continue to return despite the severely unpleasant lady ( who I think runs the joint) that continues to mumble rude things to the waitstaff and loudly enough to make patrons uncomfortable. Bark all ya want honey, Imma com'n back! YUMM!
