Great food
We ordered carry out from here last night it was very, very good. We ordered the fried chicken and blackened catfish. We live close by so the food was hot and the chicken was crispy. Everything was good, green beans, coleslaw, mac-n-cheese. We will definitely order from here again.

this place is the pits
i am surprised this place is still in business. the food seems like an after thought and the real focus is the somewhat lousy slacker bar scene. standard bar atmosphere with dorky clientele and decent bar food menu, but i wouldn't take the food more seriously than that.

Refreshing
So I ate at the Lazy Catfish last Friday night with some family who had been there before and raved about it. it was everything they said it was and more. we had an order of buffalo wings and catfish poppers to start and then I had the cajun catfish entree with fries and fresh sauteed spinach. MmMmMmMm. the poppers were so amazing it was hard to have just one order. My catfish was cooked perfectly, moist, not overdone, with a wonderful cajun spice blend that wasn't too spicy, yet not bland. it came with a green onion remoulade that was a great contrast to the seasoning of the fish. And talk about reasonable. We had the poppers and wings, two entrees, dessert, two glasses of wine and two beers total, and the bill was just $70 before tip. Trust me, it is worth the ride on the L train to enjoy the Lazy Catfish, and it is somehting that i will definitely be doing again.

Always A Pleasure!!!
This place has great food, atmosphere, and staff. I have had everything from the catfish poppers to the pot pie to the fried chiken and the burgers, I enjoyed them all. The best is that on tuesday night they have open bar with free beer from 8 to 10pm then $1 well drinks after that.

Just not good
So I walk to this place thinking that its going to be a down home soul restaurant and it turns out being an empty bar with southern food as a side show. The mac and cheese was as close to KRAFT as it can get. The chicken was alright, and the spinach was sitting in a pool of brown water. Im sad there arent any good southern fried chicken places in the near neighbrhood. Next time I'll just trek on over to Mama's.

Great!
It was great! I went with co-workers and they loved the food too. Drinks came fast and the food was so good! the Mash was nice and buttery and melted in your mouth. Dessert there was good too.

Price keeps going up, portions smaller.
I've been ordering from them for 1.5 years. Not so much anymore..They are real cool ,and very polite etc... But They always tell me 30-45 minutes for delivery but it takes 60-75 minutes (always). I usually ordered the BBQ Chicken or the Ribs. Both dishes used to be great. The last few times I ordered the chicken it was so over cooked it was like eating a piece of cardboard not to mention the actual chicken they started serving is smaller and the price went up. The price of the ribs went up too in the last year. Just not reliable...I am very sorry to give a poor review, but they have consitantly delievered a sub par dish.. Note: I have never eated there...so...go at your own risk.
