Great restaurant! Romantic enough for dates, but also fun for a group. I went on a triple date and it was really wonderful. The owner came out and personally asked us how the food was. Reasonably priced for the area.

We went here with some people who had never had Thai food before. We ordered a bunch of stuff and all tried from each other. The food was great, the service was excellent. I would definitely go again. I found the menu pricing a little confusing to read, and although the main dishes were very reasonably priced, I found that our actual meal prices were a little higher than expected because of the confusion. I ordered the Malaysian curry - it was amazing! Their shrimp shu mai were to die for - they practically melted in your mouth, and the Pad Prik King was delicious.

We order from laut all the time. Why? Because it's yummy, that's why.

Went to Laut for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was all really tasty and the service was great. Our waitress made some suggestions for us and we stayed more on the Malaysian side of the menu. The fish cakes were excellent, the Laksa was really good. A lot of the food was very spicy but they are more than happy to adjust for you. Overall a great meal and I will certainly be going back!

I always rate Thai restaurants by their spicy beef basil and their Panang Gai or curry dishes. The food at Laut was decent but not amazing. The beef dish was a disappointment. I do not like thick sauces that coat the beef and give it a rubbery texture. The beef needs to be sliced thin and the sauce needs to be less viscus so you can actually taste the quality of the meat. The Malaysian curry chicken was a different story. I really like the curry flavors and the chicken was tasty. I would order this again.
