small portions ever
Ordered take out. The fried calamari, for $9 consisted of exactly 10 one inch pieces, approximately 3 ounces of food. The Rice Crepe for $8 was appox. 1 1/2 inches by 3 inches, and weighed about 4 ounces. Total ripoff. Did not even get to the entrees which were also very meager, called and refused the entire order. I have ordered from here before and loved it. Obviously, the Michelen star, deserved or not, has inflated their egos, and they are now not worth it.

Where's the Protein?
Nice flavor spicy coconut soup, two small shrimp, one scallop cut in half, 4 small pieces of squid, $15 bucks, for this traditional Seafood Curry Laska Noodle Soup. My friend had the Shrimp version, 4 small not very fresh shrimp, $14 bucks. Tasty, but $29 for two bowls of noodles, definetly not a good value. Tight seating, good service.

great food, overpriced
love their food but their prices are a bit much. $7 for a roti canai? also, i wouldn't really say they deserve a michelin star. the food is very good...but isn't a michelin star really supposed to mean something? love the mee jawa (not listed on the menu here but they do serve it and it is delicious)

Disappointing
Portion sizes for appetizer and salad was disappointing although the salad was quite flavorful. The hot ginger tea was excellent-actually the best part of both our meals. The bird's nest was good but not great and the musman curry was mediocre-vegetables were good but the spices were not fresh and vibrant. The atmosphere was fairly nice except for music better suited to a dance club. Value was poor-two of us shared a single appetizer and salad, had no alcohol or dessert with our two entrees yet had a bill of 56 dollars.

Good food
Loved the food! The service was good. The place can be a little cramped though. The tables are bit too close. But once I tasted the food, I didn't mind it as much. I am going back to taste rest of the menu.
