Great for pre-theater!
My wife and I had reservations before a show last Saturday and it was great! I had the veal special and we ordered the Jewish artichokes which were fantastic. Overall, the decor is very nice and "old New York", I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area to see a show on Broadway.

Incredible dining experience!
From the moment we entered the restaurant, to the moment we left, the whole dining experience was incredible! The food was truly spectacular, the wait staff corteous and professional, atmosphere relaxing and cozy. Everything was top notch. I spent a lot of time researching the Italian restaurants in NYC and the time did pay off. Five star all the way! Can not wait to be back to Lattanzi

I've had better rizotto at a chinese restaurant
weak minestrone soup. no other option given even though when I left there was a posting of lentil soup. Rizotto de mare was disappointing. It was rice not rizzotto, the shrimp was frozen and tasteless and overpriced. wouldn't eat there for free

Pre-theater delight
Went for dinner before seeing a show on Saturday and didn't have a reservation, but they were able to seat us right anyway with very little wait. The place was pretty jammed so our waiter was a little rushed but sweet all the same. I really enjoyed the Fried Artichokes as an appetizer. I am very familiar with the Italian way of serving them where they are roasted and you peel and eat them, but here they're fried and you eat them with knife and fork. My dates Fettuccine alla Ragu was wonderful, some of the best pasta in the city. I had the Chicken Piccada, a favorite of mine, and was not dissapointed in the slightest. The sauce was wonderful. The prices were a little expensive, but then again, it's New York. We didn't have a whole lot of time but I'm sure with wine, dessert and drinks the bill could get quite high. Would love to go back again sometime when were not rushing to see a show. The atmosphere was wonderful.
