Excellent catering
I use Lassen and Hennings frequently to cater our meetings. Deliveries are always prompt and employes courteous. The food is consistently fresh, delicious and presented in a lovely manner. They are completely reliable.

My Favorite Gourmet Shoppe
This place is not very big, but everything they serve is 100% fresh and good. Honestly. I have this place cater every single one of my parties because the food is spectacular. The sandwiches are groaning big. The deli food is wholesome and flavorful. The Tiramisu cake is out of this world. The Chocolate Decadence is on another planet. The brothers who own this place also own Monty Q's further east on Montague Street, another one of my favorite places. We are lucky to have this lovely gem in Brooklyn Heights.

Tasty and Wholesome Sandwiches
Arguably the best sandwich spot in the neighborhood. The signature sandwiches are delicious, and the deli sandwiches are great as well. Additionally, the prepackaged sides/entrees are a good buy I'm a big fan of the various potato side dishes. The only negative is the egg sandwiches for some reason they are hit or miss, as I've repeatedly gotten egg sandwiches from here which were just bad (go next door to the bagel place). Finally, the staff is very courteous.

Great sandwiches
This is a wonderful place to go for lunch. It is purely take out and delivery though- there is no seating. I recommend getting a fresh sandwich and eating on the Brooklyn Promenade- which is just down Montague Street!
