    The strip steak was aiiight!

The strip steak.....excellento, magnificento....my lady had the lasagna.....she loved it too! The service was ok...the food was great....the music was a bit off....they played hip hop and reggae....and then switched to classical music...

    Superb

We happened to stumble on this restaurant on accident, and we were pleasantly surprised! The service was attentive and kind, and the food was delicious. They started us with free garlic bread, and i had the plain meatless lasagna. It was so tasteful...my boyfriend had chicken francese with pasta, and he said it was also delicious. We will definitely go back again...great prices...great service.

    Eh

Not the best place in the city for Italian food. You're probably better off at any number of restaurants in the immediate area.

    Poor service

The food is good but the service is so poor that you may not get served for over an hour and a half. They took our order three seperate times and the first time they came over was after we had been sitting for a half hour. Also, the staff was rude.

    Delicious lasagna

I have walked by this restaurant several times and always made a mental note that it looked like an appealing local place comlete with outdoor seating on 2nd Ave. This last time I passed by I also grabbed a menu for take-out. I can't really comment on the in-house dining experience, so I based my star ratings of decor on what I have observed and tservice on the delivery person. The food however, I can ccomment on, and what I ordered was delicious! I started with the Bruschetta with marinated tomatoes and goat chesse. This was delicious! Also, it was amazingly intact when it arrived (no real spillage of the topping off the bread.) The one thing that may not be to everyone's liking about it was that the toast were halved buttery rolls that they send with the meal and I would guess they serve at the restaurant at your table. (The same bread came with some butter alongside my entree.) I found them to work well and be delicious, but they were softer than traditional bruschetta toast, so if you are a purist keep this in mind. For my entree I had the Lasagna Primavera. I knew when I opened it that it would be delicious. Not too cheesy, the sauce was wonderful (I think it was a slightly pink sauce denoting a subtle touch of cream) and the vegetables were sliced thin and flovorful. DELICIOUS! This is real comfort food. I plan to order again and to try other varieties of the lasagna as well as some of the other non pasta items. Recommended.

    I will go back

Food was better than I expected for the prices - very inexpensive - open air restaurant with outside and inside tables. My water glass never got empty. Free garlic bread - average in taste - but free. Good house Merlot. I'm not overly fond of lasagna, but they specialize in many different kinds - the sirloin (beef) was very good. Also chicken, beef and seafood dishes on the menu. Very good caesar salad. Service was attentive w/out being ovebearing. Good value - I will go back - very relaxing environment - not overly formal. Good place to take friends and relatives.

Great Lasagna...made to order. Comes out piping hot and is enough to feed two!
