    subpar food

Wow what a total disappointment - subpar lasagna (cheap jar sauce that tasted vinegary, no cheese and little veal) and this is the restaurant's namesake! We also had the chicken arriabata - no joke hot wing sauce mixed in with some tomatoes over chicken.

    Good Food... Subpar Service

I had a similar experience to the review below... I went for dinner with my family... early, before the crowd came... We ordered food and my dinner never came out. While waiting for the dish and after eating off of everyone elses plate I was pretty full... We wanted to order desert but the waiter never came back so we got the check and left.

    Amazing!

My parents and I were in NYC a year ago around Christmas time and found Lasagna Ristorante while walking around. We were amazed by the quality of the service we received and the food was exceptional. We found ourselves going back for more a couple nights after. Both times same great service and same great food.

    not the best lasagna

I had a craving for thick, hearty lasagna and thought this might be a good fix. I ordered the veal lasagna was disappointed in the soupy, orange (chef-boy-ar-dee) colored mess that I got. This was a delivery.

    Spur Of the Moment

Just 3 of us walking around and we came upon a reasonably packed Lasagna's restaurant on a Monday night. We were seated immediately, with no reservation and with courtesy. We spoke with the staff as if we were regulars, and with all the customers they had, the service was well above par. I'll get one of their lasagna's next time, but this time I had the clams linguine, my wife had the fish, and our son had one of the lasagnas (which they had many variations of). The food was excellent, all of it, especially the lasagna, and all reasonably priced. Thanks.

    Good meal, forgetful service

There were a total of 9 people in the restaurant (with my group consisting of 4 people). Strangely enough, one of the orders never made it out and after waiting around and catching the person’s attention, our friend just ended up forgoing the meal and taking parts of ours (as the portions are rather big). The forgetfulness continued when one of the people in our group wanted desert. Overall, service aside, the food was delicious, with the four cheese lasagna and the mushroom ravioli being quite tasty.

Delightful dining at a reasonable price

My wife and I have made a stop at this restaurant an annual event following our holiday trip to NYC and a Saturday evening mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral. We have always found the food (especially the lasagna) to be delicious and the wait staff is pleasant and helpful. The combination appetizer plate of calamari, eggplant parm and mozzarella sticks is an incredible value for $15. The entrees were hot, spicy, and delicious and the house wine (large carafe for $22) was an excellent combination. I highly recommend Lasagna!
