There is no need to go there...
We stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton and had dinner at 'Las Chicas Locas'. It was totally overpriced - we had dinner at several other restaurants in NYC which were much cheaper! Food was OK, however, lots of fresh coriander. Gratuity was added even we were just a party of two - nobody told us about this position, only after asking the waitress she let us know - not really fair! Next day we wanted to drink a beer outside on the terrace, but there was no service so we had to get our at the bar inside by ourselves... Service is poor and unfriendly, that might be the reason why the restaurant is always empty, even on the weekend! Do not go there, it is not worth it...

Loca to return
I went to Las Chicas Locas with 3 of my girlfriends last night. We go out to restaurants in the city all the time. I haven't reviewed any restaurants in the past, but now realize I need to if i love/hate one. We were beyond disappointed. We ordered guacamole, 8 dishes and 4 pitchers of Sangria. ALL the dishes were unappetizing, the guac was extremely mild and none of us had a buzz. We left completely unsatisfied. The service was ok and the atmosphere was eh, not chelsea cool at all. Would never go back.

Great Find
me and my girls stumbled upon this place for happy hour one evening toward the later side. The music lured us in and the giant patio with an attractive crowd mingling sealed the deal. We snacked on some guac and chips and shared some deeelicious shrimp skewer. The bartender gave us some tequila shots on the house too! Will be back verry soon...

Great NYC Hidden Gem!!!
Fantastic! I've eaten here several times... with a large group and an intimate small two top. It is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants in NYC. The service is exceptional. There are sooo many things that I want to eat on the menu and so far every single thing has been amazing. I'm in love with the Guacamole!!!

The best food and atmostphere...ever!
The food was fantastic! We were seated right away after given the choice of the lounge, dinner area, or outside patio for dinner and drinks. We had dinner and it was amazing. The service got mixed up a little and it took a while for us to get a "set" waitress, but the host felt extremely bad, apologized several times, and gave us all a free shot. The atmosphere was so great along with the music and surrounding people. We will definitely be coming back here. The quality of the food was perfect and like no other I have had before. It was a little expensive but the taste definitely made up for it. Overall, a 9 out of 10. I definitely recommend to anyone.

Not recommended
I went there for lunch with some friends, expecting to have a nice margarita and some good mexican food. As soon as we walked in we were surprised that the place was completely empty.. we got there at 12:30pm which should be a busy hour for any good restaurant. We first try ordering some margaritas but the waitress mentioned that they don't serve margaritas at lunch time!! And no, don't think we are young teenagers under the legal age for drinking alcohol.. After the Margarita's disappointment, we ordered some guacamole, which was awful... none of the ingredients were fresh... the avocado tasted rotten... Then we ordered some burritos... The waitress recommended the steak burrito which I ordered and wasn't good at all. The steak was burnt and for the price they charge, you better go to a nice restaurant and get some decent food. When we got the check, the waitress informed us that a 20% gratuity was included. We were just 4 people so this didn't make any sense. Of course we asked her to show us the menu where they stated that 20% gratuity will be charged for parties of 4 and all of a sudden we got another bill without the gratuity charge.

Fun, hip, stellar food
A big group of us came for New Years Eve, the food was phenomenal! It was a special menu for the night featuring a saffron oyster bisque that was delicious and a margarita-glazed filet mignon cooked to perfection. We left after dinner but the lounge was packed for the New Years Party...really fun, beautiful crowd. Will defintiely be back to try the regular menu!
