Delish!
I love this place. Sitting at the bar is perfect for excellent service - the bartenders are attentive and very knowledgeable. Love the menu, small portions, but amazing flavor.

L'Artusi to the rescue
After a nearby restaurant cancelled my reservation without notice (due to a private party) my boyfriend and I were reservation-less on his birthday. I was angry and disappointed not knowing where to turn. The fabulous staff at L'Artusi made us feel so welcome and provided us with a romantic corner table upstairs. After a glass of complimentary wine for our troubles, our wonderful waiter suggested a mouth-watering variety of his favorite menu items. Each dish was more delicious then the next. We started with the spicy and tangy Escolar, moving on to the mushroom and fried egg appetizer. After a primi pasta course of butternut squash and brown butter we capped off the meal with the sea bass and brussel sprouts. The generosity of the staff, extremely high quality of the food and warm and inviting atmosphere made the night a complete success. Thank you to the wonder staff of L'Artusi. We will be back again (soon.)

Amazing
What a great place, comfortable, hospitable with tremendous food. Some of the best pasta outside of Italy. The service is wonderful. My only complaint is the portions for the money are small.

Adorable Italian Gem
After walking-in with my honey, we were able to be seated at the chef's counter. What a treat! Highlights were the service, the gnocchi (yum!) and the home-made ricotta cheese. Definitely come here for excellent Italian in a darling nook in the city.

Neighborhood Gem
Charming and warm, this neighborhood gem manages to master hip and low-key simultaneously. The open-kitchen concept is a plus, and the attentive (but not overly eager) waitstaff makes for a pleasant, relaxed dining experience. I cannot say enough about the food...to say that it was perfectly prepared and presented would be a gross understatement. Two dishes sent over with compliments of the chef were equally delectable. I would go back to eat there tomorrow, the next day, and every day thereafter.

Cute place
Super cute place, loved the atmosphere. Place was still really crowded at 11:30 on a saturday night but in a good way. Sat at the bar and ate. Really spacious and comfy chairs. Bartender was super friendly and knowledgable and made us fun drinks when we said we wanted something special. Split the steak and buccatini with a friend and both dishes were excellent, wanted the ravioli but they were out of it that night due to everyone ordering so I will have to go back to try it.

Super Spaghetti
The spaghetti with garlic, chilies, and parmesan is insanely delicious! I was totally bummed when I was finished - and I am not a pasta lover. I also recommend the cheese tasting. The blue cheese was paired with dark chocolate and while it sounds odd it did not taste it!
