    Great Food, Great Decor

The food was delivered promptly, and hot. Servin sizes were more than ample. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Sauces and seasonings were delicious, and not overpowering. I will definitely be going back! One thing, the waiter never brought my ginger iced-tea.

"why does the food taste like a refrigerator"

That was the first question my friend asked when we began eating. Yes, the portions are huge, but who cares, especially if the food is unappetizing. The only plus was the super-kind staff who was very patient and friendly. But I wouldn't eat there again unless Brooklyn Decker was serving me the food.

    Good food great value

While I have had higher end Vietnamese food in Chinatown, I am a definite fan of this place for lunch, usually take out. Portions are always good, food gererally well prepared though I have received a piece of plastic food bag in one meal. This place is always busy and lines sometimes go out the door. More often than not the meals are prepped and ready to go inside 10 to 15 minutes, however, on occasion, my order gets lost or someone else picks it up by mistake. My favorites are the Chicken and Beef Pad Thai though they can be a bit greasy; sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken and the stir fried veges. The counter staff is always pleasant and cheerful especially with their regulars.

    bad attitude

I've always liked the food here, but the staff needs to get a better attitude. Last time, they brought me the wrong order--a lunch special, L17, when I had clearly said "17." OK, it's an understandable mistake, but they then got angry with me and insisted that it was my fault. So unprofessional!

    Thanks menupages

We ordered from L'Annam based on the recommendations here. We're vegan, and though though there was a slight language barrier, the folks there were patient and very accommodating on what sounded like a busy night. Delivery was quick, and the food was delicious, hot and fresh. The tofu & ginger dish was a standout, as was the baby bok choy which they suggested. We've ordered twice since that first meal and are always happy.

    Fantastic Gluten Free Food!

The food at Lannam was unbelievably good and there is an extensive gluten-free menu! For celiacs like me, this is a rare find. I had summer veggie rolls to start and Pad Thai as the main - both dishes were amazing. Plus, there was gluten-free soy sauce available - so I didn't miss a thing! The wait staff was also very friendly and educated about the gluten-free menu. I can't wait to go back!!

    Great Vietnamese Food

L'Annam was a wonderful discovery I made here on Menupages. I went to see Fuerza Buerta and did a search for restaurants in the Union Sq park area. So I deciced on L'Annam. This is one of my favorites in NYC now.
