    Hunger made me do it

My girlfriend and I ate lunch at Landmark. The restaurant is a relic, a remnant of a bygone era. The décor probably has not changed in a generation. Despite being surrounded by patrons nursing hangovers and eating breakfast at 3pm, when the server abruptly asked for my order, I chose the souvlaki (seemed like a reasonable idea considering that the sign outside touted Greek specialties); my girlfriend opted or an omelet. My souvlaki platter was mediocre at best. The chicken was a plain piece of breast meat, pounded thin then cooked on the griddle. Only one pita was on the plate, and it was spongy and damp. The tzatziki was a goopy concoction; real tzatziki would have been insulted by its very existence. The French fries were the soggy, mass-produced variety that evoke bittersweet memories of college dining halls and fourth-rate roadside diners visited on roadtrips. My GF declared her omelet to be just “bad”. About the only positive thing I can say about the Landmark experience was that our food arrived 2 minutes after we ordered it; consequently, our time suffering at Landmark was mercifully short. Two final points: (1) it is cash only; and (2) the walk to the basement bathroom gave me the willies.

    Greaseless Diner

I'm always amazed how not greasy the breakfast food is here. It's not a fluke bec. I've had breakfast here about 5 times.

    Best Diner in SOHO

I love this little place. The ladies that work here are awesome, and the COFFEE IS AMAZING. The prices are reasonable, especially for this area, and I have yet to order a bad meal. If you're in the area, this is the place to go for breakfast OR lunch, and honestly, I'm quite sorry I'm moving uptown, for the sole reason of losing this place right next door. Go there. You won't be sorry.

    Morning staple

I work in the area and order breakfast from here every day. It is good quality food and always shows up much faster then I expect. If you want quality food with great service at a reasonable price this is the place.

    The best coffee

Whenever I stay in chinatown NYC I allways go to have breakfast here. The coffee and eggs are the best. I too wish I could eat there more often. Service is good too, check it out.

    My favorite place in NYC

The food is awesome, great pancakes, amazingly friendly staff. I'd eat there everyday if I could!

A little bit pricey? This is this cheapest place I've ever been to.
